Recap
The group felt negatively about Quad’s resurrection event, but as Dr. Simone pointed out, it wasn’t because of the formaldehyde. To explore their friendship with Quad and the prospect of including her in their girls’ trip to Napa Valley, Toya gathered Simone, Dr. Heavenly, and Dr. Jackie together. Toya thought Napa was elegant and peaceful. Put another way, she didn’t want Quad to show up out of the blue and cause a stir.
The biggest grievance the woman had with Quad was that she never expressed regret or took ownership of her acts. Toya mentioned that she was tired of trying after ten years had passed. The problem for Heavenly was that Quad vanished and neglected to get in touch with the group right away due to other obligations.
In the end, Toya asserted that close friends are what hold people together. Despite being the core four, they were prepared to give Quad one final chance. Heavenly had exerted every effort to convince her daughter Alaura to pursue her college education within the state.
Despite the wind dangers in Florida, she managed to continue on her path. Even after Alaura showed Heavenly her FAMU acceptance email, Heavenly remained unconvinced. She finally gave in and said she was okay with her daughter’s choice. Heavenly did cheer up, but only after Alaura revealed that she was majoring in biology and was carrying on her mother’s legacy.
Miles and Michael, Simone’s sons, were playing House Hunters with her husband, Cecil, in the meantime. Their condo tour was complete, with the required scene of them sitting in the bathtub. The kids had to sign a contract that Simone had written out, which said stuff like no filthy bathrooms and free rent for visitors after two days.
The happiest of all appeared to be Cecil, who was already planning to turn his son’s chambers into many man caves. As Toya prepared for her vacation with her friends, Dr. Eugene offered her encouragement. He advised Toya to go to sleep with one eye open because he didn’t think Quad should have gone on the trip.

Toya advances her wine business with a significant meeting; Jackie receives assistance from the White House for her fight against infant mortality; and the ladies face a difficult decision on Quad’s future in the group.
