Catherine will be patient with Marceau as his worries start to rip him from the inside after he meets with his stepfather. Marceau has been trying to keep his past hidden from Catherine and her family since the very beginning of their tale. But Catherine has started to suspect him, and she might find out the truth in Marriage of Convenience Chapter 104.
The romance side story has taken center stage at this point with the life of Marceau and Catherine as the main leads. Unlike the main story, the relationship between the two is a lot sweeter, and there is less drama in how things began for them. However, that isn’t to say they don’t have an eventful life; the drama is still there.
The ongoing conflict, or the inner conflict, was hinted at the very beginning of their tale. When Marceau was trying to woo the girl who would one day be his wife in the future. The male lead had pondered that he was being ignored because they might know the truth about where he truly belonged.

Marriage of Convenience Chapter 104 will see the fantasy showing some tender moments between the newlywed couple. Marceau and Catherine have been together for a while in the series, but none of their tender moments are shown. This is as good a time as any to show what the couple is about and how they communicate with one another.
From the past few chapters, we know that Catherine is the kind to pick up things quickly and likes to learn new things. This, in turn, makes her interested in all sorts of things, and a drive to discover new and unknown. This was how Marceau won the heart of the female lead after he got advice from her aunt.
While Catherine’s likes and dislikes were shown, we didn’t get to learn a lot about the male lead and his preferences. We just got a hint that he had a secret he didn’t want anyone to know about, least of all his fiance. However, the recent development demands that he come clean and tell Catherine about everything related to his life.

Marriage of Convenience Chapter 103 starts with Marceau taking a stroll on a snowfall day, and meeting a stranger who would be the age of his father. And after the little exchange between the two, it turns out that that man was Marceau’s stepfather. And this begged the question of who was the real father of the male lead and the story behind it.
We got a short flashback where we learned that Marceau was the child of a con man who had impregnated his mother. The Davoville household was quite about that, but growing up, Marceau had to go through many things. The young Marceau was deprived of all the love from his family and felt estranged and isolated.
Marceau’s stepfather talked to him in a business-like manner, but the male lead was cold towards the old man. He was asked why he hadn’t sold the house, to which Marceau politely declined, saying it was none of his business. However, the cool face fell apart the moment he was told that his mother had died, which led to Marceau later having a fever.
