Mairimashita! Iruma-kun is the story of Suzuki Iruma, who had a very rough life cleaning up after his irresponsible parents. His parents one day decided to sell him off to a demon in exchange for money. His life wasn’t so easy, considering the fact that he was such a pushover.
Iruma could never say no to anyone; whether he wanted or not, he always had to help everyone; it had become like a part of him that he couldn’t let go of. And so when Sullivan asked him to be his grandson, he couldn’t deny that either.
The demon who bought Iruma was an oldie who didn’t have any grandkids, so to fill that gap, he adopted him. His dream was to have a grandchild and be able to show him off to his friends. Only these two knew about his true identity in the demon world.
If anyone got to know about Iruma being a human, he would be dead for sure, so now he has to live and act like a demon in order to stay alive in this new world. The demon who adopted Iruma as his grandson is Sullivan. He promised Iruma that he would take good care of him and would get him all the things he needed, and even educate him.
So Iruma got admitted into the demon school whose principal was also Sullivan, which Iruma gets to know about later on in the story. As soon as he entered the school, the induction program for the freshers began, and Iruma had no clue what to do.
But Sullivan didn’t stay quiet and nudged him to go front and indulge in various activities. Iruma then gets into a fight with one of the best freshmen in the school and wins it by luck.
Even he couldn’t believe himself, but he won. And now even the best student of the demon school submitted himself to Iruma since he got defeated by him and was ready to be his subordinate. And this is how his life in this monster world began.
Previously On Mairimashita! Iruma-kun Chapter 299: Recap
In Chapter 299 of Mairimashita! Iruma-kun, we saw two new members to the new thirteen crowns added, and at the last moment, another candidate was added for the new thirteen crowns, which led to the reevaluation of the results.
Rumors had already been spread that some of the thirteen crowns were being replaced. The thirteen crowns came forward and announced that after careful consideration, two of the thirteen members were to be removed.
The Glutyon King Behemolt, whose whereabouts were unknown, as well as Dark Lord Glasya, were removed, and two new demons were called upon to take their seats. Naberius Narnia and Gamesman Mephisto were the two new members of the thirteen crowns.
It was unexpected for Naberius’ son to apply for the job at the last moment, but they had to consider it as his name was only enough to make thousands of demons rise from the Netherworld; Naberius was one of the feared names.
And to make him the crown, one of the two has to be rejected. So sir Mrphisto and sir Narnia were about to be appointed as the members of the thirteen crowns but got interrupted by monsters around. They thought it wasn’t fair just to select two when many worthy candidates were present.
So the committee decided to open one more seat, the most Nobel of the thirteen seats, the seat which had been vacant for many years. Demon King Delkira’s seat was about to be replaced.
