It is a sad day indeed as actor, television, and film star Roger E. Mosley has passed away. The actor was best known for his role as helicopter pilot Theodore “T.C.” Calvin on Magnum P.I., has died. He was 83 years old. The devastating news was further confirmed by Mosley’s daughter, Ch-a Mosley, who confirmed the news of his death as she shared a statement on Facebook, stating that her father, friend, and ‘coach Mosley’ your “TC” from Magnum P.I., passed away at 1:17 am”.
It was further added that the tie was surrounded by family as he transcended peacefully. It was further informed that the actor was in critical condition after the Aug. 4 car collision and was “fighting hard” at the time. No additional details have been disclosed. His daughter wrote.
The Actor Starred In The Original Magnum P.I
Roger starred in the original Magnum P.I. as the series was an instant hit with all of its eight-year runs from 1980 to 1988. As it had 162 episodes, the actor appeared in 158 episodes opposite co-star Tom Selleck, who was the show lead.
In addition to Magnum P.I., Roger went on to appear on various television series, including Love Boat, Night Gallery, Sanford and Son, Kung Fu, Night Court, Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper, Rude Awakening, Las Vegas, and Fact Checkers Unit.
The actor had further starred in several movies, including The Mack, Hit Man, Sweet Jesus, Preacherman, Darktown Strutters, and The River Niger. Roger was also a part of other films, such as McQ, The Greatest, Semi-Tough, Heart Condition, and Pentathlon. Actor Stephen Hill, who plays the new version of T.C. Calvin on the Magnum P.I. reboot series, also took to social media to pay tribute to the late actor with a heartfelt post on Sunday. The actor further added how they have all been honored by the example of Roger’s life.
