We all dreamt of becoming world-famous superstars at least once in our life. However, it is not everyone’s cup of tea, certainly not mine. The amount of hard work and determination it requires is immaculate. Will Shibuya Chisato be able to do it? Let us find out about that. Today we will talk about Love Live! Superstars!! Episode 5 Release Date: Becoming Superstars! We will also recap the previous episodes so that you get a glimpse of the bigger picture as to where this anime will be heading in the upcoming episodes.
Between the Tokyo areas of Omotesando, Harajuku, and Aoyama is the Yuigaoka Private Girls High School, where the narrative is set. Originally scheduled for demolition, the school has just reopened to welcome new pupils. Kanon Shibuya and four other first-year students discover the existence of “school idols” in a school that hasn’t made a name for itself and has no history or accomplishments to brag about. They then set out to make their voices heard. In order to one day become household names in their own right, they form the school’s idol group Liella!
In July, the series’ specialized magazine Love Live! Days revealed the project’s name, Love Live! Superstar!! The name “Liella!” for the teenage idol group was also decided in September by fan vote. A fan poll was used to select the name from a list of 16 possibilities. The word “Liella!” is a combination of the French words “lier,” which means “to connect,” and “brilliant,” which means “an inner glow.” Yui is the same word as “lier” in the school’s name in Japanese. The group’s name reflects the optimism that today’s up-and-coming stars with individual brilliance will one day become household names.

Love Live! Superstars!! Season 2 Episode Recap
Even the musically gifted Kanon Shibuya has goals she works hard to achieve. Kanon, however, is unable to enroll in Yuigaoka Girls’ High School’s music program due to her stage phobia and instead enrolls in the regular curriculum. Despite Kanon’s conscious determination to completely stop listening to music, Tang Keke, a student, reinvigorates Kanon’s enthusiasm for music through her own fondness for school idols.
Ren Hazuki, the director’s daughter at the school, strongly opposes Keke and Kanon’s attempt to join a school idol group. Even so, the girls go to the director right away, and he or she agrees to let them start a school idol club as long as they place first at the Yoyogi School Idol Festival. As they deal with the obstacles in their path, these want to be idols’ fortitude is put to the ultimate test. The girls encounter new people along the way who join them to form the shining idols that others can only envision. They also make new friends along the way.
Mei and Shiki’s connection wasn’t completely convincing to me by the middle of the episode, but the parallel to Kanon and Chisato’s bond and the latter’s own personal fears really convinced me of it and won me over fairly quickly. Both of them are unquestionably excellent cast additions, and it will be entertaining to watch them connect with the other actors in a more natural way. It was good to see Chisato go against her comfort zone and attempt to become the club president rather than putting the “burden” back on Kanon. This gave Chisato some more character growth.
It appears like next week’s episode will center on Natsumi, which is about damn time because she had only made brief appearances in every episode aside from the first one when she spoke with Kinako. Seeing the turtle in the tank immediately brought to mind K-On! for some strange reason. Chisato’s brief moment in the spotlight and all her adorable facial expressions made me happy. Then Kanon appears with his stunning, comforting smile (while speaking to Mei), which immediately took my breath away. It could really alter my opinion of her, which was already very favorable to begin with. And don’t think I didn’t notice Mei and Shiki walking hand in hand demonstrates the influence of “friendship” in action! Right now, the show is so focused on winning that it’s hard for me to keep my composure.
