Excited for Love Island Season 9 Episode 36? Because the Islanders will be getting a VIP performance from Jax Jones. Tom wrote a poem for Samie and of course, Samie was gushing, was blushing, and Tom was very happy that this took place. And again, I feel like a poem, like writing 6-7 lines and suddenly you’re girl can forget that you were kissing somebody else, and this is just wild to me. But I’m sure Love Island, is very intense, and therefore emotions are at an all-time high.
But I genuinely, thought Samie would have been the girl to break the Love island curse, which is going on in the last couple of seasons where you don’t go back to your couple and you just stand tall on your own. I thought that she was going to be that girl. She was gearing that way, she was very upset and it was also on her birthday, I believe as well. So there was a lot for her to deal with. But Samie said, “Tom is out of the doghouse,” and these two are back on it.
Love Island Season 9 Episode 35 Recap, Review & Predictions
Before diving into Love Island Season 9 Episode 36, let’s quickly recap and review the previous Episode. Now the same thing happened with Will and Jessie as it happened with Tom and Samie. The fact that all the Islanders were standing in that one line, reading one line out, I don’t know why you guys were doing that. If it was me, I would have just sat and told him, “listen, I watch you guys, but I’m not gonna be reading out things. It doesn’t make any sense to me”.
Jessie who was crying with no tears, Jessie who was really upset, Jessie who was really frustrated with the whole situation is now somebody back home with Will, and these two are, OK. This is what we’re seeing now, guys. The villa couples are just coming back together again. Now, this obviously in a way it’s good news for them because it puts them back in good positions to obviously, you know, being the finale, being the top three, being the top two, and even when the show.
Because those two couples, Samie & Tom and Will & Jessie, had they not forged back together again, Lana and Ron would have taken the cake 110% when it came to the winnings. And it looks like that might still be the case. Or maybe Will can win everyone’s hearts all over again. I feel like Will was somebody who was sorry, apologetic, and really wanted to get back on terms with Jessie. He realized he f’ed up and he looked like he was genuinely remorseful. So, you know, that’s what Jessie’s done, she’s accepted and taken on.
Is Jessie Fake Or For Real?
I am really like a pendulum with Jessie. One minute I’m like, “you know what, this girl is really forcing it, she comes across as rehearse and I’m not buying it”. I was saying this for the first half of the season.
Then during Casa Amor, I was like, “you know what, maybe she is genuine, real because she staying loyal to Will, even though she knows how the Love Island game works. Then I’m back on my first again because it’s like “you’ve been very emotional, but there are no tears” and it just looks very confusing and it’s been consistent, so it is quite confusing.
But don’t forget that during Season 5, Molly May was getting very emotional, we didn’t see many tears and we were confused by it, but she proved us wrong. So you know, Jessie could be the same thing. I feel like is she faking her emotions or is our perception limited of how we are viewing her emotions? Because we are seeing on a TV show and perhaps there are times when she is genuine, there are people who do cry and can’t have tears in the real spot, but there’s still feel that urge and pain. So, you know, it can work either way, to be honest with you.
But I don’t like the idea of Islanders coming back ever. Because you know the game you played the game, you’ve been in the villa, you know about the cameras around you, the structure, what to do, what not to do, you have that edge sword, you have that advantage, which I feel like is unfair. And this is always gonna be at the back of my mind when it comes to any island that returns, no matter how genuine or not genuine they are.
They know how the game works, whether it works in their favor, like Adam and Jessie, or not like Aaron who literally just zoomed back to Australia and said “I’m done with this”. So it could really go either way. That’s how the pendulum really sways and I just find it quite confusing when the Islanders come back.
It’s Getting Cheesy
But this post groveling that these guys are doing, I’m over it. It’s cheesy, it’s forced and it’s predictable. We’ve seen it in the last two seasons and I would like to see something different where they don’t go back to the couples. Yes, this leaves the. vulnerable for a bit, but it would be nice to see that so that somebody else would come in there for them. That is what I’d like to see.
I find it to be frustrating when we know what’s gonna happen. It’s the cheesy poems, the cheesy decorations that suddenly now these guys have such clear, you know, the sight of what they want and they had to go and move to other girls to find that site. And it’s like, if you like somebody, you don’t need to be tested in this way.
And this test seems to be a reoccurring theme for this whole situation. I feel like it was a powerful Casa Amor episode. It definitely got me hyped up. But the hype is going down for me because they are just going back to their couples.
Aftersun Better Than The Main Show?
I was also watching Love Island Aftersun, in this day and age, with this season, Aftersun is more enjoyable for me, to be honest with you. I like Indiyah as an old Islander on the show. I feel like she has good presenting skills, the way she’s bouncing off and back interviewing these Casa Amor people. I think that is definitely great to see and it shows that she has future prospects in the presenting world and that is what I wanna see for her continuing on. Because I feel like she’s doing very well when it comes to working with Maya.
And I also love Sam Thompson, I feel like he’s great with the lines, his own poem that he read as well. All these three clicks, they’re a great trio and I feel like Love Island Aftersun, to me, is more watchable and enjoyable than the actual show. And that I never really expected because I normally end up watching Aftersun. Now we will discuss when will Episode 36 of Love Island Season 9 will release.
Love Island Season 9 Episode 36 Release Date & Preview
Love Island Season 9 Episode 36 will release on 21 February 2023 on ITV2. We will see two things happening in this episode. First, Tanya will be secretly pulling out Shaq for a chat in the middle of the night. Second, the Islanders will get a performance from Jax Jones.
I see Will & Jesse, Tom & Sammy, and Ron & Lana in the finale. These three couples are undoubtedly in the top three, in my opinion. There is still one more pair that might make the final four, and they are Shaq & Tanya. Nevertheless, Olivia has been receiving this main character edit, so we’re not sure. She could even be there in the top 4. What about Kai and Sanam? Will they be in the top 4?
So it is interesting, but I’m not sure who the fourth couple would be. I’m not sure how you felt about the finale. Which of the top four couples do you believe will advance to the grand finale?
