The release date of the Chinese Fantasy series, Love Is Written In The Stars episodes 21 and 22, has been scheduled. With the series approaching its finale in just another week’s time, things are getting clear between the characters, along with a few true identities being revealed.
Love Is Written in The Stars, with its premiere on March 31, 2023, has gained a good amount of popularity since the beginning because of its intriguing narrative, beautiful costumes, and production, along with hints of comic elements and full-fledged romance and drama.
The Chinese Series features Judy Qi as Zhou Yuan, Ao Rui Peng as Wei Qi, Ian Yi as Ning Lan, and Yang Xin Ying as Lin Yan, the lead characters. Their onscreen chemistry and charming looks have captured the hearts of the viewers.

Love Is Written In The Stars Episode 20 Recap
Love Is Written In The Stars episode 20 opens with Zhou Yuan looking for Wei Qi at Wuyin Mountain. While searching for him, she runs into one of the Shenji Sect men who kidnapped Wei Qi. Zhou Yuan threatens him to tell him about the whereabouts of Wei Qi. The man, who does not want to get killed, blurts out about Wei Qi’s whereabouts and follows Zhou Yuan.
On nearing the place where Wei Qi is, Zhou Yuan rushes towards it, unaware of the poisonous miasma on the mountain. When her body reacts to the poison, she runs into two other kidnappers. They tell her about how the effect of the miasma is lightened during the sunset, and how Wei Qi had waited the whole night to suck the miasma.
On the other side, Wei Qi is seen to be unconscious in a big hole, where he was kept after his abduction. He dreamed about his childhood when he was tied up and kidnapped. At that moment, a butterfly flies towards him, somehow waking him up. Followed by the butterfly, he sees Zhou Yuan. Initially, he does not believe his eyes, but when Zhou Yuan touches him, he gets happy seeing her.
Zhou Yuan apologizes for being late and for not noticing Wei Qi’s letter of abduction on time. On being asked how she managed to reach Wei Qi, Zhou Yuan reminds him about the power she has to control the forces of nature. Then, she returns Wei Qi’s ring to him and asks him not to return it to her thereafter. Wei Qi apologizes to her, and both of them share a kiss.
Next, the three kidnappers of Wei Qi throw in a rope to help the couple out of the hole, but at that moment, an earthquake happens, and the couple gets stuck in the hole as the exit gets blocked. The three kidnappers run away from there. After running for a while, they run into Zhou Pei, the county magistrate of Qinglin County, and ask for his help.
On the other side, Zhou Yuan and Wei Qi look for a way out of the hole. While searching, they manage to get a firestick, but it got burned out by mistake when Zhou Yuan sneezed. Then, with the help of the Wuyin stone, she calls the lovesick butterflies, which multiply themselves to light up the place.
At the odd moment, Zhou Yuan suddenly shares her feeling with Wei Qi and tells him that she only likes him and is happy to die together with him. With this being said, the couple shares a passionate kiss. Then, Zhou Yuan asks for a promise from Wei Qi, where she puts forth her wish to become his bride. Wei Qi happily agrees to it.
Next, while searching for the exit, Zhou Yuan and Wei Qi reach a beautiful place that looks like a relic from an old tribe. Zhou Yuan finds the place familiar but cannot remember anything clearly. Then they discover that the cave is made of Wuyin Stone. Suddenly, the power of the Wuyin Stone bracelet in Yuan’s hand loses its power, which comes as a surprise to the couple.
Zhou Yuan then remembers her father’s words in which he told her about a cave near her home, the inside of which glows in the dark, and being in the cave can take her to unknown truths. At that moment, when she touches one of the glowing stones in the cave, her hands get stuck to it, and she gets glimpses of her past.
As soon as Zhou Yuan comes back to the present, she collapses on the floor, which worries Wei Qi. At that very moment, Zhou Pei appears there and introduces him as Zhou Yuan’s father, which makes Wei Qi nervous.
On the other hand, Ning Lan is seen making the marriage certificate for Zhou Yuan and Wei Qi. Cui Ying arrives there with the memory of Ning Lan stored in a paper crane. Ning Lan absorbs the memory and leaves for Wuyin Mountain, asking Cui Ying to look after what they have. This enrages Cui.
Next, in Wuyin Mountain, Wei Qi with Zhou Yuan on his back and Zhou Pei are seen made out of a cave and walking in the forest. Zhou Pei reveals that he used to stay in that cave 16 years ago, and it is related to the Wuyin Tribe.
At Zhou’s house, Yuan is seen to be sleeping when she sees the same dream she has been seeing for a while. In the dream, she sees the Wuyin Tribe leader. She tells her that she is not Zhou Yuan. She is actually from the cave full of Wuyin Stone. Her mother reveals that the cave is the hometown of unusual talents, Wuyin Village.
Then, Zhou Yuan sees some StarFall and the Wuyin Village in front of her. The Tribe leader explains that the power that Yuan possesses come from the sudden StarFall that happened 100 years ago, and this StarFall has changed the fate of many people, including hers. She further explains that Yuan, being an unusual talent, can marry and make children only with ordinary people, or she can endure the pain of power.
Then, the Tribe leader shows Yuan a glimpse of her childhood when the Tribe leader wrapped baby Yuan with a cloth and left her at a river. While fishing, Zhou Pei got hold of the basket with Yuan in it.
After coming back to the present, the Tribe leader gives the Meteor Hairpin to Yuan, but she refuses to put it in her hair as she wants to wait for Yuan to make her own decision. Saying this, the Tribe leader disappears, and Zhou Yuan wakes up from her dream with the Meteor Hairpin in her hand.
Meanwhile, Wei Qi brings in some gifts for Zhou Pei, and tells Zhou Pei, his wish to marry Yuan. But Zhou Pei says that they have a long way to go before discussing the marriage between Wei Qi and his daughter. He further explains that Wei Qi does not know Yuan yet, in-depth. When Wei Qi asks a few questions in his mind, Zhou Pei gets ready to answer his questions.
Wei Qi and Zhou Pei are interrupted by Zhou Yuan when she arrives there and tells them that she will explain her identity herself. She tells Zhou Pei that she is the baby he picked up by the Qinglin River. This shocks Wei Qi, whereas Zhou Pei agrees to her words and reveals that Yuan is not his real daughter but an orphan from Wuyin Tribe.
In the meantime, Wei Qi’s father arrives there, and Wei Qi and Zhou Yuan are surprised to see that Zhou Pei and Wei Qi’s father know each other. Then, when Wei Qi’s father tells Wei Qi to go back with him, Wei Qi tells him his wish to take Zhou Yuan along with him as he has promised to marry her.
Wei Qi’s father refuses to accept the marriage proposal. Zhou Pei explains that it is because of the mishap of the Wuyin. Sixteen years ago, Wei Qi’s father was the one who led the troops to attack the Wuyin Tribe. Zhou Pei further explains the history. Then he asks Wen Qi to reconsider his decision to marry Yuan as neither he nor Wei Qi’s father will agree to the marriage.
Zhou Yuan says that she is fine with the fact that Wei Qi’s family destroyed Wuyin Tribe as the mishap happened during her father’s time and has nothing to do with them. Wei Qi also agrees, sticks to his decision to marry Yuan, and asks his father to accept it, as they had already spent a night together.
At that moment, Ning Lan arrives there and explains he represents the Yuexia Pavillion and has made Wei Qi and Yuan a couple. Subsequently, he shows the Marriage Permission certificate to both fathers. He further advises the two fathers, along with Wei Qi, to discuss it. While the three men go inside the house to discuss, Ning Lan and Yuan escape.
