Louisiana’s Department of Wildlife and Fisheries will be returning with a new episode of Louisiana Law this week. The show centers on the Wildlife Department based in Louisiana as they try and rescue animals caught up in the wrong hands. They also often investigate cases that involve illegal animal treatment.
The show was fired seen on television on May 9th, 2021, with the episode Monster Crabber, which documented the Wildlife agents dealing with Crab fishermen, Illegal deer hunting as well as rescuing a bald eagle. Since then, Louisiana Law has had a new season each year, with the latest season 3 premiering on April 2nd, 2023. Since the reality series had been ordered for eight episodes, we’ve reached the end of season 3.
Louisiana is known for its diverse fauna, but along with this, there comes the risk of the exploitation of animals. Seeing the increasing amount of illegal practices concerning animals, the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries tries to save animals even if it means working in dangerous environments. These skilled agents can easily figure out when something’s wrong and immediately set out on a mission to stop it. Up until now, they’ve busted countless fishermen and hunters not complying with the Louisiana Law.
Louisiana Law Season 3 Episode 7: Recap
In the previous episode, which was titled “Backroads Outlaw,” we see the agents heading over to the Crawfish Capital, where they investigate the case of a corrupt fisherman who had been using illegal ways to catch fish. Besides being sent off to face the consequences of his actions, his recent catches were also confiscated by the Wildlife and Fishery Department.
The episode also featured the crew finding one of the hunters carrying a gun that’s forbidden by the law. He tries to escape the situation by blaming someone else for his possession of the weapon. Another illegitimate hunter’s whereabouts are tracked by the officers when they find a trail of beer cans leading exactly to his location.
This season was able to showcase all kinds of cases, from illegal weaponry to careless trash dumping that threatens local wildlife. The season began with the crew finding out about the black market sale of venison, a meat that is usually derived from deer. Their routine boat checks usually end up revealing wanted people trying to hide from the police.
The episode “Guns and Meth” presented the unfortunate incident where a child had gotten injured after falling from a boat. Not only are the Wildlife agents the first to arrive at the place, but they are also the ones that provide proper guidance to prevent the occurrence of such accidents. They also target the locations of several illegal hunters who roam the forests and sell their animal meat through the black market.

An all-new episode of the Animal Planet series will be released on May 21st, 2023. Unseen episodes of Louisiana Law usually come out on Sundays, and each episode has a run time of 60-65 minutes.

In the upcoming episode titled “Concealed in a Cooler,” we’ll be seeing the wildlife agents head over to a location to explore an abandoned cooler, only to find out something completely unexpected in it. When some of the workers go out to patrol an area, they face dense fog that risks their safety and eventually causes them to be caught up in a dangerous encounter. The episode will also feature the officers investigating a burglary case.

New episodes of the wildlife series will be aired on Animal Planet at 9:00 pm ET & 8:00 pm CT. On-demand episodes of Louisiana Law will be available to stream at Animal Planet GO, Prime Video, Apple TV as well as YouTube TV. Canadian viewers can stream the wildlife show at CTV, where new episodes are aired at 10:00 pm ET & 7:00 pm PT on Wednesdays. The timing of the release of episodes in other places will be as follows:
