The growing kpop industry keeps on receiving love from their fans. Yet, There are bands that have disbanded; one such band is LOONA. LOONA, which is stylized as LOOΠΔ. It is also known as ‘Girl Of The Month.’ It was a girl group consisting of 11 members Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Vivi, Yeojin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Go Won, and HyeJu (formerly Olivia Hye). The group was also a part of Queendom 2.
LOONA debuted on August 19, 2018, as a 12-member group under Blockberry Creative. Chuu was removed from the group due to some contract dispute on November 25, 2022.
LOONA, known as the ‘Girl Of The Month’, was originally a 12-member group under Blockberry Creative. The group debuted on the 19th of August in 2018. The group consisted of the following members at the time of the debut Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Vivi, Chuu, Yeojin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Go Won, and HyeJu (formerly Olivia Hye).
On November 25, 2022, Chuu was removed from the group due to a contract dispute citing an “abuse of power.” Chuu filed a partial injunction against Blockberry Creative in December 2021 and won in March 2022.
On 28 November 2022, it was reported that other members had filed an injunction to terminate the contract due to due to the terms of their contracts being identical to Chuu’s, but this was denied by the company, and they announced a new album release which resulted in backlash from fans.
On January 2023, HeeJin, Kim Lip, JinSoul, and Choerry ended their contacts and joined Modhaus. HyunJin and ViVi ended their contracts and joined CTDENM in May 2023. Haseul joined Modhaus in June 2023, YeoJin, Go Won, and HyeJu signed with CTDENM in July, and Yves continued as a soloist after winning the case against the company.

The group consisted of 12 members: Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Vivi, Chuu, Yeojin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Go Won, and HyeJu (formerly Olivia Hye).
Haseul
Cho Haseul, born on August 18, 1997, was the Leader, Rapper, and vocalist of the group. She was a part of subunit LООПΔ 1/3. Her introductory single album was released in December 2016 with songs Let Me In and The Carol.
Vivi
Wong Kahei, born on December 9, 1996, was the vocalist and rapper of the group. She was a part of subunit LООПΔ 1/3. Her introductory album was released in April 2017 with songs Everyday I Love You and Everyday I Need You.
JinSoul
Jeong JinSoul, born on 13th June 1997, was the Vocalist, rapper, and Visual of the group. She was part of the subunit ODD EYE CIRCLE, Not Friends Unit. Her introductory album was released in June 2017 with songs Singing In The Rain and Love Letter.
Kim Lip
Kim Jungeun, born on February 10, 1999, was the vocalist and dancer of the group. She was part of subunit ODD EYE CIRCLE, Not Friends Unit, and LOONA Yum Yum. Her introductory album was released in May 2017 with songs Eclipse and Twilight.
HeeJin
Jeon Heejin, born on 19 October 2000, was the Dancer, Vocalist, Rapper, Visual, and Center of the group. She was part of subunit LООПΔ 1/3, Not Friends Unit. Her introductory album was released in October 2016 with her song ViViD.
Hyunjin
Kim Hyunjin, Born on November 15, 2000, was the Dancer, Vocalist, Rapper, and Visual of the group. She was part of subunit LООПΔ 1/3. Her introductory album was released in November 2016 with songs Around You, and I’ll Be There.
Gowon
Park Chaewon, born on November 19, 2000, was the Rapper, Dancer, and Vocalist. She was part of subunit Yyxy, LOONA Yum Yum. Her introductory album was released in January 2018 with songs One & Only and Saw Saw.
Choerry
Choi Yerim, born on June 4, 2001, was the Rapper, Dancer, and Vocalist of the group. She was part of the subunit Odd Eye Circle, LOONA Yum Yum. Her introductory album was released in July 2017 with songs Love Cherry Motion and Puzzle.
Hyeju
Son Hyeju, born on November 13, 2001, was the Rapper, Dancer, and Vocalist of the group. She was part of the subunit Yyxy. Her introductory album was released in March 2018 with songs Egoist and Rosy.
Yeojin
Im Yeojin, born on November 11, 2002, was the Vocalist, Rapper, and Maknae of the group. She was part of the subunit LOONA Yum Yum. Her introductory album was released in January 2017 with songs Kiss Later, My Sunday, and My Melody.
Yves
Ha SooYoung, born on May 24, 1997, was a Dancer, Vocalist, and Rapper of the group. She was part of the subunit Yyxy, Not Friends Unit. Her introductory album was released in November 2017 with songs new and D-1.
Chuu
Kim Jiwoo, born on October 20, 1999, was the Vocalist, Rapper, Face Of The Group. She was part of the subunit Yyxy. Her introductory album was released in Heart Attack and Girl’s Talk.
Debut
