LEGO ONE PIECE S1 trailer still 4

Netflix has revealed a brand-new trailer and first-look images for LEGO ONE PIECE, giving fans a closer look at the upcoming animated special that brings the Straw Hat Pirates into the LEGO universe. The two-part special is set to premiere on Netflix on September 29, 2026, and will revisit the early adventures of Luffy and his crew in a playful new form.

The official trailer showcases Monkey D. Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji and Chopper as they embark on a dangerous journey filled with familiar enemies, memorable locations and plenty of brick-built chaos. Alongside the trailer, Netflix released new images featuring characters such as Tony Tony Chopper, Buggy the Clown and Chu, while also teasing action inspired by the Straw Hats’ battle with the Arlong Pirates.

Rather than serving as a direct continuation of Netflix’s live-action series, LEGO ONE PIECE offers a new animated take on the world of Eiichiro Oda’s beloved pirate saga. The special will be narrated by Usopp, adding another layer of comedy to the Straw Hats’ journey.

LEGO ONE PIECE Brings the Straw Hats’ Adventure to Life in Two Parts

The upcoming special follows Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji and Chopper as they come together as the Straw Hat Pirates and sail toward the Grand Line. Their journey will take them through dangerous waters as they chase their dreams and continue searching for the legendary One Piece treasure.

According to the official synopsis, the crew will face several major threats along the way, including a crazed pirate clown, Marines, fishmen and a criminal syndicate. However, Usopp’s storytelling will also shape the adventure, with the special promising his

“propulsive storytelling and liberal use of ‘dramatic license.’”

The new trailer highlights the energetic and comedic tone of the LEGO adaptation while recreating familiar characters and action in LEGO form. The newly released images offer additional glimpses of Chopper, Buggy and the Arlong Park conflict, giving fans a better idea of how the series’ world has been transformed for the animated special.

Live-Action ONE PIECE Cast Returns for the LEGO Special

Several actors from Netflix’s live-action ONE PIECE series are returning to voice their characters in LEGO ONE PIECE. Iñaki Godoy reprises his role as Monkey D. Luffy, with Mackenyu returning as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji.

The cast also includes Mikaela Hoover as Chopper and Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday. Len-Barry Simons will also reprise his role as Chu, while the newly released footage and images feature other recognizable characters from the Straw Hats’ journey.

Directed by Chelsea Ker, LEGO ONE PIECE is part of Netflix’s growing slate of anime-inspired and animated projects. The special arrives during a busy period for ONE PIECE fans, expanding the franchise into another format while keeping its central characters, pirate adventure and larger-than-life storytelling at the heart of the experience.

With its new trailer now offering the clearest look yet at the animated project, LEGO ONE PIECE is preparing to take the Straw Hat Pirates on a fresh adventure when the two-part special premieres on Netflix on September 29, 2026.
