A hundred and thirty years ago, the ‘Silent Night’ made their first appearance to the world. The world was consumed in the maelstrom of war, and countless deaths ensued. Life became grim, and people started to lose hope.
Then one day, as death and destruction showed no end of slowing down, the Martial Masters of the Murim world came together and formed the ‘Central Heavenly Alliance’. The ‘Central Heavenly Alliance’ decided to create a sect that would keep the Silent Night at bay.
As such, they elected a prominent martial artist, Buk Jin Hu and he became the first leader of the Northern Heavenly Sect. With the formation of this new sect, the Central Heavenly Alliance promised their support to the people. They procured countless amounts of martial techniques and spiritual elixirs.
This allowed the Northern Heavenly Sect to grow in power and be able to successfully push back the advancement of the Silent Night. The time passed, the second-generation sect leader became Nam Moon San, and then the third-generation sect leader became Yoo Kwang Yeon.
The Northern Heavenly sect was highly respected, which eventually led to thousands of prominent martial artists gathering at this place. The man known as the Great Wall of North was the Northern Heavenly Sect’s 4th generation sect leader, Jin Kwan Ho.
The pillars of the Northern Heavenly Sect were called the Great Four of the Northern Heavens. The Great Four of the Northern Heavens consisted of the Demon-fist Jo Cheon Woo, the Tempest Storm, Kyung Mu Saeng, the Cursed Ghost Blade, Yeon Cheon Hwa, and the Ruler of Iron Blood, Jae Heok Shim. And this is their story.
Recap
Previously in Legend Of The Northern Blade Chapter 177, we saw Moyong Yul Cheon, the Invincible Warrior of the Moyong Family (Nine Skies). Unlike him, Yoo Myeong had failed to reach the realm of Youthful Rejuvenation and breakthrough human limitations.
Even when he was mortally wounded by Moyong Yul Cheon’s dirty surprise attack. However, who would have thought one would attain enlightenment in the middle of a near-death situation where even recovery of internal arts was difficult? Yoo Myeong had attained the enlightenment of the Great Law of body migration.
However, even if he had succeeded in achieving enlightenment, it must have been hard to adjust to the new body but here he was revealing his trump cards to Moyong Yul Cheon just to protect that one mere subordinate.
Moyong Yul Cheon then calls Yoo Myeong a slaughterer; a slaughterer who plundered the Central Plains and massacred for a long time.
Well, whether in the past or now, Yoo Myeong has always been full of useless and unnecessary compassion and faith. That was why he could not spend his whole life being taken advantage of.
Yoo Myeong then tells Moyong Yul Cheon that he has been corrupt for too long now and so he shall slaughter Moyong Yul Cheon and the world that he has created just like how a slaughterer would. But do you think this will all come to an end this easily?
We also saw that a few hundred years ago, in the far past, law and order did not exist. Only plunder and murder were rampant. It was the era of chaos, only filled with war and famine. That era even reached a point where humans ate humans!
