Leah Messer, who got fame after being 16 and pregnant and became renowned after appearing again in Teen Mom (the first spin-off of “16 and pregnant)”, had filed a case against her ex-husband Jeremy Calvert. Leah and Jeremy got married in 2012, and her marriage was highlighted on the show as well.
They share a 10-year-old daughter together, Adalynn Faith Calvert. After getting divorced in 2015, they figured out co-parenting. The divorce between the two was quite controversial. Even after their divorce, there does not seem to be a settlement of peace between them. Recently, they had a lawsuit, and Leah filed a protective order against her ex-husband.
Why did Leah file a case against Jeremy?
The star of teen mom Leah Messer works at a restaurant as a waitress, and recently at work, Leah got into conflict with Jeremy. He allegedly came in, then “started an altercation” and tried to confront her in a way that turned out to be a scary incident for her. The Instagram page “TeenMomFanz” was the first one to mention the incident.
Reportedly, a source told The Ashley Reality Roundup “He stormed in and was intimidating Leah. He had a group of guys with him, as well as his girlfriend, backing him up,” in addition to “the big group made a huge commotion inside the restaurant.” on December 12, Tuesday. Some sources say that Jeremy moved out of West Virginia a while ago to stay with his current girlfriend.
An insider present during the confrontation stated that there was no occurrence of physical assault between them but described it as “scary and chaotic.” Jeremy and his group had just “threatened” Leah, which turned out to scare her enough to call the police. The outlet had also mentioned that, though the authorities had responded to the restaurant, no action had been taken.
Though the pair had gotten divorced in 2015, the fear of getting harmed by her former spouse made her file a case against him, as prior to the recent incident, she had been facing harassment, psychological abuse, or threatening acts.
