Gojo vs. Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen
The clash between Gojo and Sukuna was an exhilarating spectacle for fans to witness, particularly because it had been foreshadowed since the story’s inception.

In the Shinjuku Showdown arc, with Sukuna finally at full power, it was inevitable that this showdown would occur upon Gojo’s unsealing. And as soon as Gojo made his return, the battle commenced within the pages of the manga, igniting excitement among readers.
Both Sukuna and Gojo showcased their utmost prowess in this battle. The most powerful contemporary sorcerer was pitted against the most formidable sorcerer in history, and from the outset, it was evident that neither would yield an inch.
They stood on equal footing, engaging in a relentless exchange of blows. Despite Sukuna’s advantage, courtesy of Megumi’s body, Gojo adeptly countered his abilities and retaliated with precision.
From cursed energy output to domain battles, every aspect of their clash demonstrated their equality and unwavering determination.
Towards the end of the battle, Gojo’s dominance became more pronounced in his duel against Sukuna. Even when Sukuna turned the tide by making it a 3 vs 1 scenario, it was Gojo who maintained control, unleashing consecutive Black Flashes and swiftly disposing of his adversaries. Gojo strategically executed a formidable Hollow Purple attack aimed at incapacitating Sukuna.
Although it inflicted considerable damage, it fell short of delivering a fatal blow due to its remote launch. Sukuna managed to survive the onslaught.
However, the tide shifted at the battle’s climax, with Sukuna gaining the upper hand, thanks to Mahoraga. With this newfound ability, he countered Gojo’s Infinity, ultimately leading to Gojo’s demise. Thus ended the epic showdown between the mightiest sorcerers in JJK.
The Intriguing Depths of Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 26
Recently, Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 26 made its official debut, and as expected, Gege had plenty of intriguing content packed within its pages for fans to devour. The cover prominently featured Gojo Satoru, a fitting choice considering this marked his final major battle in the storyline before his demise.
Inside the volume, there were notable insights into Gojo’s character. For instance, the author depicted Gojo’s brain bleeding due to overexertion, adding depth to his struggles.
Additionally, there was an amazing illustration of Gojo with his right eye wide open, emitting gleams—a scene that evoked curiosity among readers. The portrayal of Gojo appearing almost defeated on the ground added to the intrigue surrounding this artwork.
When juxtaposed with the panel depicting Gojo’s apparent demise, this illustration seemed to align seamlessly, leading to speculation among fans.
Many have debated whether this particular scene suggests that Gojo Satoru might still be alive, possibly awakening after enduring a powerful technique. This speculation has ignited fervent discussions among fans, adding another layer of anticipation to the series.
If indeed Gojo’s return is in the cards, then this panel would serve as a fitting depiction of his awakening after his encounter with Sukuna. Fans are aware that Gojo was transported to Shoko’s care, opening the door for potential revival scenarios akin to what the volume art hints at.
However, it’s crucial to note that the volume art alone isn’t the sole indicator of Gojo’s potential comeback. Relying solely on that would be a precarious foundation for reintroducing such a pivotal character into the Shinjuku Showdown arc.
