Late Night Lycett filming locations are something that the fans are curious about since the show dropped its first episode on Channel 4 last week on the 31st of March 2023. It is obvious that Joe Lycett is loved by everyone in the country and to see the comedian have his own talk is quite interesting.
There are various funny pranks and hilarious segments throughout and we get to sit and enjoy the time he is on the stage. But among this all, it also makes fans curious about where actually is it all taking place.
I mean, Joe has a live audience for the series that get to witness the entire chaos at the same time and it would be really fun to actually go to the studio where everything is being filmed to have the best experience. Thus, we have covered the filming location in this article and you can read on to find out more details.
The series throws light on a late-night talk show that has been commissioned by Channel 4 for their spring-summer programming. In the lead, we obviously see comedian Joe Lycett. Along with him, during the series premiere, we were introduced to a bunch of other cast who will probably be regulars throughout the season in order to help Joe with the different segments in each of the episodes.
Late Night Lycett – Details
First off, we were introduced to the aunties on the screen namely Pauline and Margaret. Secondly, another segment in the series introduced us to Richard Yewtree. He is going to be part of a news segment with Joe. In the previous episode, he talked about various things happening in the world such as the fact that Agatha Christie’s novels are going to be published again very soon. Joanna Lumley was invited onto the show and she went on to meet with the aunties. There was even a point when she said that Joe is a brat, playfully.
Another huge part of the first episode was the prize that Joe announced for the winners at the end of the season. We know him and we know how much Joe loves to pull various tricks up his sleeve but this was a huge thing. The comedian has promised to give away his own car, which he very much loves, as a prize.
This announcement came on his behalf when there were issues with the prizing budget with Channel 4. He talked about how the producers denied to give them any more money because it is already heavy on their pockets to have a show which is set outside of London City.
This made fans even more curious about where the heck is this series staged. Well, more of that later. But then, Joe said that there was no option left and he thought of giving his own possessions as a prize to the winner. Thus, he continued with the idea of giving away his Lexus hybrid to the person who wins.
Channel 4 is fully onboard with this idea and they have even opened up the link which can be navigated through in order to win the car that Joe has. We will tell you the requirements in a bit because first, let us explore the location at which the show is filmed.
Late Night Lycett Filming Locations
Late Night Lycett is filmed in Birmingham. It is not staged in London and that is why Channel 4 is not happy with the budget it is causing them but anyway, Joe is always thinking on our behalf. Coming right to the competition that will have the fans win the Lexus that Joe drives, people need to be 18 or higher in order to take part.
The crew is trying to get across people who have a funny story which is rather unfortunate but gives us a laugh because of just how sad and tragic it is.
