While Kurulus Osman has managed to bring to light the powerful life of Osman I, there are still a lot of stories left before we find out how this brave man managed to create the legacy of the Ottoman Empire. To continue Osman Bey’s saga, Kurulus Osman will rightfully be having another season this year.
Written by Mehmet Bozdag, this ATV series documents the life of Osman Ghazi, the son of Ertugrul. Along with his personal life, Kurulus Osman shows the enemies, friends, and traitors that Osman Bey meets on his way to forming the ultimate kingdom. Osman Bey has to deal with all kinds of unexpected situations and countless wars to lead his people to peace and prosperity.
Season 5 will have most of the cast members from Kurulus Osman’s previous seasons, including Burak Ozcivit in the role of Osman Bey, Ozge Torer as Bala Hatun, and Yildiz Cagri Atiksoy in the role of Malhun Hatun. We’ll be seeing more of Osman’s children in the new season.
Kurulus Osman Season 4: Recap
Season 4 began with Osman getting ahold of Marmara Hisar. Seeing Osman gain more power causes Ismihan Sultan to worry about her position, forcing her to ally with the Byzantines. More enemies start forming against Osman bey after he kills Kantakuzenos and Samagar, one of the Mongol commanders.
Angered by Osman killing Samagar, Nayman forms a group with Ismihan and Olof and tries to kill Osman. The plan doesn’t work out, and instead, it’s Olof who ends up dying in the fight. Alaeddin is dethroned after Osman finds out about his unjust doings and informs Ilkhan Ghazan.
Mesud is instead made the Sultan. Instead of an enemy, Osman finally has a friend in the form of Mesud. Another task that Osman completes successfully is conquering Kopruhisar. Meanwhile, Ismihan and Alaeddin are kidnapped and sent to Tabriz. Nayman, who was against Osman all along, is executed by him as we approach the end of the series.
Andronikos gives Valens a strong enough army so that he can help him crush Osman. As always, through his powerful army and great strategies, Osman manages to come out victorious and win over Koyunhisar. The 5th season of Kurulus Osman ends with Osman Bey taxing the Byzantine caravans.

Kurulus Osman Season 5: Episode Schedule
Brand new episodes of Kurulus Osman season 5, starting with episode 131, will be available for watching from October 4th, 2023 onwards. Exciting new episodes of Kurulus Osman are likely to be released on Wednesdays, with each episode lasting for about 131 to 135 minutes.
Season 5 may have a total of 32-35 episodes, seeing the way its older seasons have ended with a similar number of episodes. ATV hasn’t confirmed the total number of episodes Kurulus Osman Seasin 5 will be having.
