Kono Oto Tomare follows the life of Takezou, who is a highschooler at Shinokawa Highschool, and following the years, Takezou is the only one who is currently in the Koto club, all seniors graduated from high school and now taking a promise from his Senpai’s that Takezou will never let the Koto club die, Takezou tries his best find one more member for the Koto Club.
Takezou was a timid and nice kid; he was very average in class and was constantly under the beck and call of others until he joined the Koto club and found his heaven; without one more member, the Koto club is set to be removed and when Takezou was handing out flyers to find members for his a group of people barged into his club room and tried to make a mess.
Takezou tried to do his best to make them, but the boys resorted to violence and tried to push Takezou away, and that is when it happened, a helping hand came out to reach Takezou, and this person kicked out all the troublemakers inside the club room. The person was Kudo, who is infamous for being known to have a criminal record in high school?!
At first, Takezou was reluctant to let Kudo join the club because, on the surface, Takezou thought Kudo was there to make his club room his gang hangout place, and that is when Kudou’s friend talked to Takezou, and he realized it was Kudou’s grandfather who made the Koto club.

In the previous chapter of Kono Oto Tomare, Shinokawa Highschool’s Koto club performance was a huge success! Even though their Koto club was ridiculed for being “uneven and amateur”, Takezou and his club members pushed through and won first prize in the inter-high school performance.
After the match, high schoolers held a party for Takezou and his club members, and on their way, they met with a person who seemed to be very familiar and close with Kudou. The person is Kudou’s brother, and he seems here to be more than just congratulating Kudou for winning the Koto tournament.
