Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon Chapter 129 will return with the news after we had a funny little episode in the manga. It is not surprising that the series had such a moment (it has many of those), but its opening up strong made it look serious for once.
Not that anyone will complain about that. The more hearty this series, the better we end up feeling. And it is to be expected from the series that was picked up by Kyo Ani (Kyoto Animation). Kobayashi is an anime/manga series that has made its roots in the culture due to the merry tales it brings.

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon Chapter 128 had Kobayashi being asked by one of his friends to do a favor for him. And it so happens Kobayashi is the perfect man for the job as he had been asked to make a record of immigrants that come to their land, Dragon Immigrants.
There is one among them that will create Havoc the moment it steps onto this land. And they wish to stop him in his tracks, with Kobayashi being the most familiar with dragons, the perfect man for the job. Kobayashi got to the job as soon as he was called with Tooru on his side. It turns out every denizen from the other dimension was aware of who she was, which made it easy to deal with them.
Kobayashi was able to make reports on them, but to his surprise, they were unappealing as none of them had info on the illegal immigrant. But, all of them had one thing in common, which confused the officials involved. Every dragon from another world wanted to go to Maid Cafe, and they left as soon as they were done.

Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon Chapter 129 will have the case of a dangerous dragon go to the next step. Though, Kobayashi and his associate were still puzzled as to why the denizens of the other world wanted to see only Maid cafe of all places. It also doesn’t help that they got Kobayashi as a guide who is enthusiastic by the maids.
While this all is happening, we get to see that even the wholesome world of dragon maids can be threatened by things that are way beyond their control. And in that light, Kobayashi is willing to protect them by putting himself on the line.
It would be cool were it not for his Otaku tendencies and the troubles he would get himself over the weirdest of stuff. But the recent chapters do show that there is a shadow looming in the background.
