Shin faces Riboku on the battlefield – with emotions blazing after past conflicts and an aching desire to prove himself. Their two armies collide, the epic clash driven by Shin seeking both revenge and glory in hopes of pushing towards his lofty goals. The battle rages on, the outcome hanging in the balance.
The last released chapter was titled “Confronting the Adversary.” Shin receives word that his troops are prevailing in skirmishes across the battlefield. He commands them onwards when Ten hurriedly arrives with an urgent update.
Riboku tried and failed a sneak assault on Akou and now beats a hasty retreat nearby. General Akou seeks their aid to run Riboku to the ground before he escapes.

Ten informs Shin that Riboku has other troops nearby but believes a flanking force of 10,000 could overpower him. Shin worries they cannot divert so many men.
Ten assures they can manage since Kyoukai anchors their right flank. They only need to endure until Ouhon provides backup.
However, Ten’s staff anxiously question if Ouhon will come unbidden without orders from Ousen. If he does not intervene, they will be dangerously exposed.

Spoilers and Expectations
Akou’s troops have surrounded Riboku, but reinforcements stream in from both armies, turning the area into a chaotic melee. Zhao soldiers worry about their worsening odds. Futei blames overextending against Akou and orders a fighting retreat. More of his troops arrive, and Futei breaks Riboku free just as Shin charges onto the scene.
Futei shouts for his men to form a shield wall while Kaine launches a strike on the Hi Shin Unit to cover Riboku’s escape. Futei and Riboku yell for her to pull back, but Kaine insists on engaging the HSU personally so Futei can guide Riboku to safety.
