It is not a dignified and gaudy tale of an assassin but rather a humble and comical take on the same. Our protagonist’s failure at a professional course on assassination forces him to open a salon as a sanctuary, for he has not given up. Seven, the protagonist of “Killer Seven,” is a possessor of special abilities. He is vested with telekinetic scissor abilities and can disguise himself as anything. Born as a child prodigy, Wu has now lost his yesteryear memories. He suffers from amnesia. As a result, Seven is on a quest to regain his lost memories.
He is a hairdresser at a salon owned by Chicken Dai Bo, who encourages Seven to terminate his targets. His comical failures at assassinating his targets set the undertone of this animated series. Now he is a soft-hearted man with inept assassination skills. He has a romantic interest in Thirteen. However, it is not reciprocated.
Dai Bo
A chicken! That’s disrespectful to Dai Bo. He is not your ordinary chicken; he is gifted. He used to live on a poultry farm and was supposed to be supper for humans. However, fate had something else in store for him, and now he manages the Salon business. As it is evident that he is a prudent chicken, he also possesses great management skills.
Thirteen
An assassin with unparalleled beauty. Thirteen is a no-nonsense, shrewd, and stony character. She is adept and a masterful assassin hailing from a patrilineage of skilled swordsmen. Aware of her background, she is often seen crumbling under the immense pressure of familial expectations.
The series also hosts an ensemble of side characters like the adopted son of Dai Bo, Dai Fe, and Manjusaka, the major antagonist of the Third animated installment. Other lively characters adorn this masterpiece of a show.
