The Lord of Brion has left the land of Tayar but his aid to Hakan is surely going to give Tayar an upper hand in the upcoming battle. Hakan has obtained the Holy Relic from the Lord of Brion and his mother has also made a full recovery thanks to him. Now that Hakan can fully focus on the battle, how will Tayar fair against the Slayers and the Shifters?
Kidnapped Bride Chapter 60 opens up with Hakan, Lucina, and The Lord of Brion meeting up in the garden to chat over some tea. The Lord of Brion says that the land of Brion is very different from Tayar as it rains a lot in that land which makes everything look Grey. He then asks Lucina about her decision to go to Brion with him.

Lucina hesitates a bit but she eventually tells the lord of Brion that she will stay in Tayar so that she can be by Hakan’s side as the Queen of Tayar while he fights in the ongoing war. The Lord of Brion doesn’t feel sad about Lucina’s decision, he instead feels happy after seeing that Lucina has grown so much.
The Lord of Brion tells Lucina that he will accept the decision as he doesn’t intend to take her by force. He then inquires about Hakan’s ongoing war with the shifter. The Lord of Brion offers to lend the Holy Relic to Hakan to help him win this battle.
Hakan and Lucina are shocked to hear that The Lord of Brion is going to lend such a powerful relic even though Lucina refuses to go with him. The Lord of Brion clarifies that he is only helping Tayar because he wants Lucina and her child to be safe. Hakan says that as the king of Tayar, he can’t just trust the Lord of Brion.
The Lord of Brion wonders how he could make Hakan trust him when suddenly Hakan’s Mother Adar arrives on the scene. Lucina immediately gets up to hold Adar. Lucina tells Adar that she didn’t need to come out of the castle to meet her but Adar argues that she feels too stuffy inside the castle.
The Lord of Brion says that he doesn’t mind Adar’s presence and that she can join them. Hakan tells the Lord of Brion that Adar is his mother and that she gets a bit unstable at times due to her condition. The Lord of Brion takes one look at Adar and realizes that Adar has been affected by Dark magic.
Hakan couldn’t believe that The Lord of Brion was able to detect Adar’s condition by just taking a look at her. The Lord of Brion takes it a step further by offering to erase all traces of Dark magic from Adar by using his Holy Powers, he asks Hakan if he will trust him after that.
Hakan thinks for a while and then permits the Lord of Brion to use his holy power but he also warns him that if he tries to pull any tricks then he will not leave Tayar unscathed. The Lord of Brion accepts Hakan’s conditions and then he proceeds to use his Holy Power on Adar.
Lucina rushes to Adar’s side to ask her how she’s feeling and Adar replies that it is as if a huge load has been lifted from her head. After seeing Adar’s condition with his own eyes, Hakan believes that the Lord of Brion was able to erase the Dark magic from Adar.
The Lord of Brion asks Hakan if he believes him now and Hakan agrees. Hakan and Adar then thank the Lord of Brion for his generosity but he replies that he only did what was needed to be done. Eventually, Adar makes a full recovery thanks to the powers of the Lord of Brion.
Hakan gives his servant instructions to carry out the investigation and report back to him as needed. Then, Hakan gives Turan a call and informs him of the miracle performed by the Lord of Brion.
Turan began to suspect that the Lord of Brion was up to something, as he was already distrustful of him. Before Turan could take any action, Hakan gave him the command to assemble all of the Knights since they would soon be fighting the slayers.
