Lucina is more than she seems, as her secrets are starting to get revealed with each passing chapter. The aid that had come to help Lucina with her research on the birth of a dragon child had found something intriguing. And then there is the letter, the contents of which will be revealed in Kidnapped Bride Chapter 56.
Lucina had gone through a lot in this series, and Hakan hadn’t been able to take much care of her. However, after the last arc, the romance series‘ female lead finally has something to do and preoccupy herself with for the coming days. And it was all thanks to the research left to her by Adar, the one that had been deemed insane earlier in the series.
However, Adar’s insanity comes from her being put under black magic by someone from the palace. And that someone was none other than Hakan’s sister-in-law, who had been vying for power in the palace by replacing Lucina. But now, she had been dealt with, leaving the plot without a villain but lots of mysteries.

Kidnapped Bride Chapter 56 will be about the letter that was received by a mysterious blonde man at the end. Lucina, up till now, had been going through a honeymoon phase with Hakan, which was then followed by Political bickerings. And, of course, the drama that led Hakan to mistrust his wife over and over due to the events that occurred.
Those things are standard stuff for the majority of the romance works out there; they are a basic ingredient for many. These tropes are loved by many and hated by many, but can’t be denied by anyone who comes across them. However, if they go on for too long, the story in question can become unbearable to read/watch/consume.
Perhaps this fact was realized by the writer of this series as well, which is why they ended that saga and moved on to the next one. And just like the usual tropes in romance, we are getting hints of another overused one. Lucina is now looking up to the daughter of someone from a high rank and not the daughter of some prostitute, as hinted before. But how will that affect the series?
Kidnapped Bride Chapter 55 Recap
Kidnapped Bride Chapter 55 started the fantasy series with Lucina’s helper discovering something new about her that would shake the foundations. We are told that she is of half-moon birth and that Hakan’s sister-in-law had lied to the helper about the origins of Lucina. A guard comes in asking the helper about the progress that he has made in his research, and the helper plays it safe.
He was worried that bringing up Lucina’s unconfirmed origin would make things complicated and decided to study it later. We are then brought to Lucina, who is going through Adar’s notes and is worried she made sense of them. Hakan was trying to be attentive to her Queen’s needs and offered her food to recharge some of the energy lost.
Lucina resisted the idea until she was ultimately mouth fed, but vomited the food out just as she had eaten it. Hakan got worried and called for a healer right away, who informed them that Lucina had gotten morning sickness. She said that she needs to avoid certain types of food if she doesn’t want to experience something like that again.
