In the upcoming chapter of the manhwa, we will be introduced to a new character who bears an uncanny resemblance to Lucina, except that she has blonde hair instead of Lucina’s signature pink. That is the reason why fans of the series are really excited to find out what is going to happen next in the upcoming Kidnapped Bride Chapter 53.
While aimlessly flying around, the elf noticed a messenger Bride carrying a letter. Out of bored curiosity, the elf decided to follow and observe where the letter was being delivered. To his great surprise, it was received by a lady looking exactly like Lucina.
However, something seems off about this Lucina lookalike. She is giving off ominous vibes, foreshadowing that her presence likely spells trouble. It remains to be seen what role this new doppelgänger will play in the story.
The elf’s accidental discovery of this character is bound to create intrigue and suspense around chapter 53. Fans are eager to find out more when the highly anticipated next installment of this popular manhwa arrives. Until then, we can only speculate about the blond Lucina’s intentions and if she will impact the original characters in unexpected ways.
Recap and Review
The new chapter opens by revealing Lucina’s inner thoughts. She contemplates how much more peaceful the palace feels in the month since she assumed the role of temporary queen. The only major change is that the mage Gilrai now comes periodically to treat Queen Ada under supervision.
As Lucina walks through the halls with Hakan, they chance upon Gilrai returning to his cell under guard escort.
Hakan seizes the opportunity to inquire about his mother’s health. Gilrai provides an update that her condition is slowly improving but the longstanding spell’s effects will likely be impossible to completely reverse given her advanced age. However, he has nearly removed the dark magic so Queen Ada can now have coherent conversations again.
Seeing Gilrai lead away captive leaves Hakan feeling conflicted. While Gilrai harmed his mother, Hakan struggles with seeing him imprisoned.
Sensing Hakan’s change in mood, Lucina asks if he is uncomfortable seeing Gilrai under guard. Hakan admits he feels some guilt about the situation.
Trying to be supportive, Lucina suggests they visit Queen Ada to uplift Hakan’s spirits. She happily agrees to accompany him to see the progress in his mother’s recovery firsthand.
As they walk to Queen Ada’s chambers, Lucina and Hakan continue their conversation about Gilrai’s predicament and what the future may hold for the kingdom now that Lucina has brought stability to her leadership role.
Spoilers and Expectations
As they walk, Hakan confides in Lucina that he feels unsure about facing his mother after unknowingly leaving her in Garrett’s harmful care all this time. Lucina reassures him that Queen Ada won’t blame him for what happened.
With Lucina’s encouragement, Hakan builds up the courage to visit his mother. When they enter her chambers, Queen Ada recognizes Hakan right away. Overwhelmed with guilt, Hakan apologizes profusely for causing her so much suffering. However, Queen Ada kindly tells him he has nothing to apologize for.
After their emotional reunion, Queen Ada asks Lucina for a private word. She thanks Lucina deeply for all she has done, recalling how kind Lucina was when she first escaped to the palace unaware of her identity. Queen Ada expresses gratitude for Lucina’s compassion and care through such a difficult time.
