Kidnapped Bride Chapter 37 is just around the corner, and the anticipation for this Chapter is at an all-time high due to the actions that went down in the last chapter. So far in the story, Hakan has been trying to keep his distance from Lucina after she got pregnant because he doesn’t want his dragon powers to affect his unborn child.
Hakan went as far as to chain himself and knowingly suppress his papers through potions just so Lucina could be safe, but all that changed in the last chapter as Gilai intercepted Hakan’s room by sending a Candle created by his blood.

Kidnapped Bride Chapter 36: Recap
The chapter opens up with Hakan getting close to Lucina. He leans in for a kiss, but he suddenly pushes himself away and starts shouting that he should be chained or he won’t be able to hold back.
Lucina starts laughing at Hakan, and he gets annoyed as he feels that he might die just then. In another room, Gilai and his sister continue their planning to attack Hakan.
Gilai thinks that if he did magic when Hakan was with Lucina, then she might get hurt, so he would have to think of something which avoids this scenario.
He hands over a candle made from his blood to his sister and tells her about it works. She doesn’t pay much attention, so he explains his plan in detail, which makes her excited.
Meanwhile, Lucina talks to the fairy about how she chained Hakan just because he wanted to sleep with her, and the fairy starts laughing upon hearing this. Lucina tells him that she is going to give birth to Hakan’s child, but her body is too weak despite her healing powers.
The fairy explains that it’s because she has the energy of the earth. He says that it’s good that she has Hakan’s child because that baby will stabilize her chi with the energy of fire, and as far as nutrition goes, she would be fine as long as she eats enough. Lucina gets excited upon hearing this and shouts at the fairy.
Lucina asks the fairy if she has heard that carrying the baby of a dragon can be life-threatening. The fairy replies that it’s true for an average person but not for Lucina because she has healing powers.
The baby will utilize those powers and protect her body from the force of fire, but she will lose her healing powers for the time being. Lucina asks if her powers will return after the child is born, and the fairy says yes.
Lucina gets overjoyed and shouts at the fairy for not telling her about this till now, but the fairy says that she never asked him about this before.
She thinks that she should immediately tell Hakan about this, and she feels relieved that she would be able to give birth without taking pills. Meanwhile, Hakan prepares to meet Lucian by drinking a potion that suppresses the fire’s vigor.
Hakan’s maid brings flowers and scented candles for the room, and one can easily notice that she’s carrying the candles made by Gilai. The maid leaves the room, and Hakan smells the scent unknowingly.
After some time, Lucina arrives in the room to tell Hakan what she just learned, but Hakan starts acting strange. As soon as Lucina comes near Hakan, he grabs her hand and pulls her close to him. His grip hurts Lucina’s hand, but he doesn’t pay attention to it and stands in front of her with a death glare.
