Kevin Can F**k Himself Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
In the opening scene of episode one, titled “Mrs McRoberts is Dead,” Allison and Patty tie up Neil and carry him to the basement of Neil’s home. They tie him up and begin to consider how to silence him. Neil informs them that he will tell his best friend the truth even though the group makes it clear they won’t try to kill Kevin again. Detective Tammy Ridgeway visits Patty at her home in the interim. Patty takes Tammy to a restaurant while pretending to be ill to keep her away from Neil. If Kevin wins the election, Allison becomes concerned that she won’t be able to kill him.
Allison creates an advertisement for Kevin to undermine his chances of winning. She deceives him into showing his man-child side on camera and then sends the footage to a local TV station for broadcast. The mayor decides not to accept him as a candidate because the advertisement harms his reputation. Allison’s plans are impacted when the ad makes him famous, and he becomes a local celebrity. When Neil loses consciousness, Patty drives him to the hospital.
Desperation
In desperation, Allison consumes alcohol, gets behind the wheel, and causes a minor collision. However, the police do not penalize Allison because she is the celebrity Kevin’s wife. She understands that if she kills Kevin, there will be a lot of publicity surrounding his passing.
Faking Death Is Harder Than It Seems
Allison looks for other ways to escape her man-child husband when she realizes that Kevin’s fame and celebrity status will make it difficult for her to kill him without raising much suspicion. Even if she succeeds in killing him. She is aware that Neil will tell her family and the police the truth, preventing her from being able to live peacefully after her husband’s much-needed death. Allison knows she needs to act quickly because Nick could one day emerge from his coma stage and reveal who hired him. Neil cannot be kept silent indefinitely.
Allison then understands that pretending to be dead is a way for her to escape Kevin and her problems. She might stage her suicide and fabricate a story that she committed suicide because she was afraid of what would happen if Neil and possibly Nick revealed the truth. After all, she thinks Neil will do so soon. With Patty’s assistance, Allison might attempt to figure out the motivation, especially since Tammy will hear what the latter says or explains without having any reservations or suspicions. Allison must be hoping that the police and her family will end the chapter on her life so that she can move far away to another city and live as someone else because she is pretending to be dead.
Patty & Allison Have A Falling Out
When Allison and Patty kidnap Neil, he tells his sister that Allison is using her to fight a battle that isn’t hers. He continues, saying that Patty allows people without regard for her to direct her life. He gives the example of a friend who treated her like a driver to a party and made her wait even though she wasn’t invited to the same. Having Allison join him in trying to kill Kevin, Neil leads his sister to believe that Allison will make things difficult for her. The comments made by her brother prompt Patty to argue with Allison.
Despite Allison’s objections, Patty takes Neil to the hospital and tells Allison she will no longer blindly follow her instructions. As Allison ignores Neil to create the advertisement for Kevin, Patty accuses her of not taking their situation seriously enough. However, their argument ends quickly when they get back together after meeting at the hospital. Patty is the only person who truly understands Allison’s suffering, and she doesn’t want to abandon Allison to her battles alone. Additionally, despite what Neil claims and thinks, Patty is aware of the depth of their friendship.
