In Chapter 155, the Kengan Association tries tracking him down through the transmitter implanted in him. Kabugachi instructs Nikaido and Maguchi not to kill Ji just yet. They need all the intel about the Worm from him, and only then can Ji be disposed of. However, soon they lose track of Ji as he removes the transmitter from his feet. Just when Ji thinks that everything has settled a bit, Akoya Seishu and Gaoh Ryuki gang up on him and try to kill him.
