Kamitachi Ni Hirowareta Otoko is the story of a 39 Year Old company man who gets reborn into a different world. Ryoma Takeyabashi had a tough childhood and so he has become quite tough over the years. At first glance, he is a tall muscular man with flat top hair and a Gentle but strong face. He is not happy with his life and complains about how his lifestyle will lead to an early grave.
He had no idea how right he was. After going to sleep for the day he wakes up in the presence of 3 strange beings. They introduce themselves as Gods of Creation, Life, and Love. They inform him that he is dead and will now be reborn into a different world. Ryoma is surprisingly calm after knowing all this which baffles the gods. However, after learning that he died from sneezing he becomes upset.
He sneezed and hit his head which caused internal bleeding leading to his death. Ryoma is deeply distraught due to the cause of his death. He explains how he has survived the worst trauma to the head and came out fine. I guess the damage built up over time. After a couple of hours, he calms down and resumes his conversation with the Gods. He asks the gods what his mission is in this new world.
However, the Gods just ask him to live a Happy Life. Furthermore, after knowing that Ryoma loves magic they bless him abundantly with magical prowess. He learns that his soul will be a conduit to transfer Magic from earth to his new universe since their magical reserves and running low. They ask him if he needs anything more any ability he can think of he can get.
He signs the contract and is transported to Sailfall, his new home. He wakes up again, but this time in the body of a child. He finds a manual next to him filled will all kinds of relevant information. The journal is filled with instructions on all things he would need in life along with a map pointing to the nearest town. However, Ryoma decides to stay in the forest he appeared in.
He encounters a slime during his travels. As his first act using magic, he tames it. We fast forward to three years in the future. Ryoma has become somewhat of an expert on Slimes. He has done well for himself. He made a house and has evolved his countless slime to do certain house chores. Little did he know his life was about to change for the better.

A lot of things happened in Kamitachi Ni Hirowareta Otoko Chapter 45 and will go through all of them. Firstly, there was a meeting at the Merchant’s Guild to discuss the attack on Ryoma. Ryoma arrived at the guild with Carla and saw that everyone else was already there. They inquire about his health. Ryoma assures them that he is just fine and there is nothing to worry about.
They each share the information that has been gathered about the attack. Apparently, the people who attacked him just came to the town a couple of days ago. The description of the man matches the one that they have been looking for. It looks like the attack on him was a distraction so that the real culprit could make a run for it. They have decided to remain extra conscious just in case.
The security has been increased. He hired several more people to protect his store and his employees. When asked if Ryoma would be needing a bodyguard he replies that if the attackers are humans, it would be easier if he is alone. So that he can deal with them without worrying about another person. The Guild Masters know how skilled he is and therefore do not think much of it.
Fast forward a month we see Ryoma walking through the streets but is attacked. Since he looks like a child the attackers seem to think they have the upper hand. They soon realize the grave mistake they just committed. Just was Ryoma as finishings restraining the bandits some city guards show up. They recognize Ryoma. Ryoma hands them over to the guards.
But before doing so he has his healing slimes take care of all injuries in their body. However, he charges them 1000 sute (Native Currency of This Universe) per High Heals. Since demanding payment for healing them is not illegal there is nothing they can do. If they do not have the funds they will be put to work to pay for it. After collecting his money he goes back to his store.
Carla informs him of her wish to open a second store. The business has been steady and Carla seems to think it’s the best time to open a second store. Ryoma likes this idea. He asks Carla and Callum to find staff and other necessary things while he decides on where to open the new shop. He goes to the Merchant guild for advice and soon decides on his new location.

In Kamitachi Ni Hirowareta Otoko Chapter 45, we saw Ryoma going to the town of Lenaf to inspect a potential location for his 2nd store. It’s a fairly short journey and Ryoma is taking it alone. He notes how this is only his second trip after coming to this world. He might encounter some threats along the way but nothing he can’t handle.
The gods have blessed him with abundant stats making him much stronger than anyone else in that world. However, his small stature makes him look like an easy target. Only to regret it later.
