Some questions were left unclear in the first chapter, so we will try to cover every question as possible. First of all, the times skip. Something terrible happened in that 38-month time skip, which gave Chihiro a big scar on his face and made his father retire from forging blades. And the one behind all this is the sorcery organization.

Some think that they killed Chihiros’s father, Rokuhira Kunishige, but I don’t think that’s the case here. As we saw, Shiba was talking to a member of Yakuza, where he clearly said that this kid’s father “IS” Rokuhira Kunishige.

So maybe he is still alive. But still, the sorcery organization has done something terrible that made him retire and make Chihiro hate them every time he looks at the scar on his face in the mirror.

There is a theory that I think is why Chihiro has grown hatred towards the sorcery organization. I think the head of the sorcery organization, Hishaku, may have come to Rokuhira Kunishige to make a sword for him.

Rokuhira may have known that he was going to use that sword to cause harm to other people, so he may have refused to make it. And like every evil organization, Hishaku may have destroyed his workshop for refusing him. Well, this is what I think, and I could be wrong.

The next chapter will be 25 pages long with a color spread. In the next chapter, we will see Chihiro finding out about the head of the sorcery organization, Hishaku. He will kill everyone in the Yakuza organization. And we may learn about what happened in that 38-month skip that made Chihiro change so much.
