This most recent episode of the series, the Shibuya Incident, is one of the series’ pivotal moments and also the most extended period of the series so far. In the episode, the main villains enact their plan to seal Gojo Satoru. As for the video’s purpose, it goes to promote Jujutsu Kaisen volume 20 and to mark the series’ 70 millionth print run. Jujutsu Kaisen surpassed 70 million copies in circulation, making it one of the most popular manga series ever. Besides being a popular manga, Jujutsu Kaisen 0’s anime adaptations have been extremely successful. For example, the movie is also one of the biggest box office hits of all time.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Release Date
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 premiere date is confirmed for 2023. Crunchyroll will stream all-new episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 as soon as they are available.
The Plot Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2
The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen will kick off with Gojo’s Past, which will reveal how Gojo Satoro became the world’s strongest sorcerer. The arc will take us back to Gojo’s childhood as he takes on the Sorcerer Killer Toji Fushiguro, Megumi’s father. Geto Suguru, who was once Gojo’s best friend and peer, will also appear in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 as he appears in the series as his best friend. Toji’s fight with Gojo, animated by MAPPA, would be fantastic. Because the Shibuya Incident is unquestionably the most essential portion of the plot, Gojo’s prior story will only span a few episodes.

Is Sunghoo Park (Seong Ho Park) Returning as Director of Jujutsu Kaisen 2 Anime TV Sequel?
According to Weibo sources, director Park and numerous outstanding employees left Studio MAPPA in March 2022 to form their own firm, E&H Production. Yann Le Gall, the new company’s background director, indicated that the new studio was working on an anime. A year ago, the company posted advertisements for positions on its website, listing 8 employees in total. The Ninja Kamui anime will be directed by Park and premiere in May 2022.
Given that Studio E&H Production was established in March 2021, this anime is expected to debut on Adult Swim and HBO Max. The film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was made when filmmaker Park was still working as a freelancer for MAPPA. Since Ryu Nakayama is a self-employed rather than a full-time employee at MAPPA, Director Park will not be overburdened by an employee during Jujutsu Kaisen Seasons 2 and 3. His previous employers include Studio BONES (Space Dandy), Studio BONES (Space Dandy), and Studio Sunrise (Tiger & Bunny).
As part of an event held on February 12, 2022, to celebrate Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the official “super significant announcement” of the second season was made at 3:55 PM JST. The anime voice actors Junya Enoki, Megumi Ogata, Kana Hanazawa, Yuichi Nakamura, and Sakura Takahiro were guests at a screening of the JJK 0 movie at Toho Cinemas Hibiya to commemorate the blockbuster box office sales of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 being a blockbuster hit at Toho Cinemas Hibiya. During the film’s conclusion, Enoki sprang out wearing a sash advertising the second season. The film screen then revealed that the TV sequel would premiere in 2023. Yuji Itadori’s Japanese voice actor is Enoki.
