Recap And Review
Leaving Yuta and Kenjaku’s battle on a cliffhanger, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 244 proceeds to continue with the third battle against Sukuna in Shijuka, with Higuruma and Yuji arriving at the scene. But before the fight could begin, we see a flashback of the sorcerers meeting about what they will be doing if Gojo loses against Sukuna.
This plan includes Yuta sneaking out on Kenjaku with Takaba’s help and coming back to them. Kusakabe also calls the people who don’t want to fight Miwa and Kamo who have their own reasons for not being able to fight. The plan comes down to Higurma entering the battle after Kashimo is done with Sukuna.
Higuruma tells the sorcerers how he could be proven very strong against Sukuna, but his cursed technique is a gamble. However, Yuji says that he will help out in this with how they could add as a co-defendant Sukuna to the crimes that he committed in Shibuya, if not the other crimes that he did.
Thus, Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 244 comes to an end with Higuruma opening his domain and getting Sukuna as a co-defendant for the massacre in Shibuya.
Expectations
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 245 will definitely begin with the trial, and we will see how Higuruma is planning to defend Yuji while getting Sukuna the punishment he deserves for his crimes. Their main goal is to get Sukuna a death penalty which will get Higuruma, his Executioner’s Sword, to pass on the judgement ending the battle for good.

But it is not easier than it may sound, as we are not even sure if this trial will indeed work against Sukuna or not. This could get Yuji into even more trouble. Gege indeed has something bigger to take down Sukuna, and as much as fans would like to see it being Gojo, there is something else that Gege is hiding, and it is definitely not Gojo.
