Popular star JoJo Siwa recently made a shocking revelation stating that she wasn’t invited to the 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. After fans were curious to know what led to Siwa’s absence at this year’s event, she soon took to Instagram to address the speculation and clear the air once and for all.
While stating that the reason why she was not at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards tonight was that she wasn’t invited, the young star further admitted that she was not sure why, but she just didn’t get an invite. She further added that she doesn’t want fans to think that it was her choice not to go. What’s surprising is JoJo Siwa was still nominated for a Kids’ Choice Award this year under the category of Favorite Social Music Star.

Fans soon took to Twitter and expressed anger at the fact that why JoJo Siwa wasn’t invited. Many even pointed out that Siwa coming out last year or going through a drastic hair transformation might have played a pivotal role in the decision not to invite her. JoJo Siwa earlier called Nickelodeon out back in September 2021 as she went on to claim that the kids’ network giant had restricted her from performing any of the music she recorded for The J Team movie on tour. The film that was released via Paramount+ included six original songs that were exclusively co-written by Siwa. She also stated that working for a company as a real human but being treated as only a brand is fun until it’s not.
JoJo Siwa has been making headlines for a while now, and she recently gave fans a happy update about her personal life. As she confirmed that she is not single anymore, Siwa further admitted that she is very happy with her mystery woman, and that’s all that matters.
