Apple TV is on a roll with its recent documentaries, and the most recent, John Lennon: Murder Without A Trial, will be taking things to another level. This documentary is going to be narrated by Kiefer Sutherland and will contain everything about the shocking death of the former Beatles star, John Lennon.
This series will be the only one of its kind to thoroughly research the events of December 1980, with no restrictions whatsoever. The production house behind Murder Without A Trial has been granted the Freedom of Information Act request, meaning they have the full rights to find out & showcase anything related to the murder.
The NYC police, District Attorney, and everyone else involved in the John Lennon murder have also allowed the Apple TV crew to produce the show. With nothing stopping them, these creators had now brought us an extensive number of interviews of people who were present in real-time when the horrifying murder took place.
All of Lennon’s closest friends, families, eyewitnesses, officers, and other people will be called in on every episode to add their part of the story to Murder Without A Trial. What makes the documentary much more intriguing is the fact that even Mark David Chapman’s lawyers will be making an appearance on the series.
David Chapman is the man who shot Lennon out of nowhere at his NYC residence “Dakota.” With insights into Chapman’s mental condition and his ultimate goal, the show is a full-on investigation that hopes to understand the reason why something so dreadful had to happen.
