Jinx Chapter 35 will be an enigma until the very moment it is released, as the manhwa takes an unexpected turn in the last chapter. And that unexpected path-taking nature of this series is what the subtitle of the series should be. We are given a hook or inciting incident, given hints as to what to expect, and then it all crashes.
When Kim Dan first got hired by Jaekyung, it looked like this would be another Yaoi manhwa with a top and bottom. A few chapters later, we were given what appeared to be a shock value, but it made people curious. And if it truly had been for shock value, then that would have been the beginning and the end of it.
However, that was just a nudge from the author as to how they will do things in the upcoming chapters. And since then, we have been going through the cycle of a suggestive incident, only for all of it to break down. And, of course, the one that has to endure all of it is none other than Kim Dan.
There were a few moments when Jaekyung was the one who had to take a hit, but those were surprise hits. And despite them being unfair play, he still respected Kim Dan doing something that Jaekyung didn’t foresee. This, in turn made the two closer and removed the barriers the two had with each other, or the surface ones at least.
Jinx Chapter 35: A Small Recap
Jinx Chapter 35 was a chapter that was not something that the readers were expecting. We were shown that Heesung was a red flag that shouldn’t be bothered, but he had already Kim Dan under his influence. However, we also saw Jaekyung working from behind the scenes and trying to sabotage Heesung’s plans to take away Kim Dan.
In the last few chapters, we are shown mostly what Heesung is like and what his relationship with Jaekyung. The two share a similar Jinx on some level, but they couldn’t stand the other. Jaekyung treats his partners as toys that he could easily throw away, meanwhile, Heesung likes to enjoy the chase and everything with it.
Now, that was revealed in a flashback, and it was during this flashback that Jaekyung shifted agencies and moved into Heesung’s. And their relationship didn’t improve in that time as the two are still surface-level acquaintances at most. However, their late feud concerns Kim Dan rather than how they want to enjoy their romances in their private life.
As usual, Jaekyung took the initiative and caught his enemy blindsided, that being the audience, with his actions. Well, in a meta sense, that would be the case, but in reality, it was Heesung who was sucker punched by Jaekyung. Jaekyung invited him on a night that made the lover boy disgusted and ran away from the scene as fast as possible.
Jinx Chapter 35: What to Expect?
Jinx Chapter 35 might start with Kim Dan being confused over what had just gone down in the apartment. He doesn’t know what exactly happened as the MMA had Doc’s ears, eyes, and mouth covered during the play when Heesung showed up. Although Jaekyung is going that far, why not cover up their nose as well? But that is a question we might never know the answer to.
One thing that we would like to know the answer to is how Heesung will react to it. Will he just simply give up on Kim Dan and put an end to Jaekyung’s tyranny? That is just an idea, though. The likelihood of that happening right in the next chapter isn’t very high.
As we have seen over and over, this series likes to give surprises but also a slow-paced rollercoaster. With enough speed to keep going and build on suspense as it reaches the highest point in the track, from there, it’s a dive. Along the way, we also see the round turns and upside-down tracks that will give the head a whirl.
