Jessie James Decker and Eric Decker’s fourth baby has arrived. The singer gave birth on Feb. 9, she revealed on Instagram Sunday. “Our beautiful boy is here Denver Calloway Decker 8.7 2/9/24 ,” Jessie posted a picture of her and Eric cradling their baby as well as a solo shot of little Denver.
The couple’s infant joins older siblings Vivianne, 9, Eric. Jr., 8, and Forrest, 8. Jessie debuted her baby bump in August 2023, telling her Instagram followers that she and the retired NFL player were expanding their family. The Kittenish creator, 35, wrote on her story at the time that the “extremely shocking” pregnancy was “not planned.”
Prior to her positive test, Jessie had been telling her husband that “it was probably time to get a vasectomy because she felt like they were done” having kids. “But … God always has other plans,” she explained, adding that they were “over the moon” about the surprise.
Jessie, who married Eric in June 2013, had been vocal for years about the former athlete’s vasectomy refusal. The former wide receiver thought that the procedure would take his manhood away from him, in a January 2023 interview.
The previous year, Jessie admitted that the surgery was TBD because her 36-year-old partner “wouldn’t book it.”The former Denver Broncos player admitted he was “a little nervous about it,” explaining, “It’s a little power being taken. That’s how I feel.”
The songwriter became a mom in 2014 and then welcome more kids in 2015 and 2018, respectively. With three little ones at home, however, Jessie admitted that that she “always” felt like she had another family member” in her future.
