Jeon Mi Do Talks About Her Career
Recently in an interview with SPOTV news, Jeon Mi Do has talked about many aspects of her career and life. In the drama series “Thirty-Nine,” Jeon Mi Do played the role of Jung Chan Young, an acting teacher with a dream to become an actress, but everything flips in her life as she is diagnosed with a terminal illness.
Talking about her approach towards the character who was terminally ill and Episode 12 of the show, which showcased the death of her character, Jeon Mi Do commented that everything was strange and a bit weird. It didn’t feel like she was watching herself there; instead, it was only Chan Young, and it was really sad.
Adding further, she said that when she said to people around her that she cried a lot while watching Episode 12, they would always reply, ‘You cried watching your own acting’?
In the drama series, besides her two closest friends, her longtime lover Jin Seok played a really important role. The fact that Jin Seok married after their breakup but still maintained a close relationship with Chan Young raised many questions from the viewers. The internet was questioning the romanticization of affairs.
Commenting on the same, Mi Do said that when she first read the script of the show, she didn’t have any concerns regarding this aspect. Though from another perspective, all of that makes Chan Young’s character look more real. The foolish side of her makes her one of the most realistic ones. Mi Do also explained that tangled in a mess, and Chan Young is neither able to fulfill her dreams nor a proper love life.
Continuing further, she said that mixing up complicated relationships like this is quite tricky as people of that age don’t have simple relationships. That made her think and ask for an explanation about the same. Indeed, she, too, was confused about all of this, and in the end, she tried really hard to accurately express what was written.
Jeon Mi Do Talks About Her Relationship With Son Ye Jin
The next question was about her relationship with the two other female leads of the drama series. Talking about the same, Mi Do answered that she is thankful to Ye Jin as she led them. Ji Hyun and she both don’t have a lot of media acting experience, and most of the time, they couldn’t find the camera. Therefore, they relied on Ye Jin for that. Taking everything in view they had really good chemistry.
Moreover, the day on which the finale of “Thirty-Nine” aired was also the day when Son Ye Jin tied the knot with Hyun Bin. Commenting on this, the actress said that it was not at all intentional but a pure coincidence. They also said things like they couldn’t watch the 11th Episode of the show as they were busy with wedding preparations.
