Jensen Ackles will return as Russell Shaw in season two of “Tracker,” as confirmed by Justin Hartley, who stars in and produces the series. Fans of Ackles can look forward to seeing him back in this role.
Justin Hartley confirmed during the Tracker panel at CBS’ 2024 TCA Summer Press Tour on July 13 that Jensen Ackles will indeed return to the show.
“We got him, he’s coming back,” he said. “We’re having fun with that. It’s a great story.”
Executive producer Elwood Reid confirmed that Jensen Ackles will return for more than one episode in the upcoming season of “Tracker.”
“It’s like family: when we text him [he says], ‘Tell me where and tell me when,’ and he shows up,” Elwood added. “He’s just that kind of guy.”
Elwood Reid confirmed to TV Line that Melissa Roxburgh, who portrayed Colter’s younger sister Dory in season one, will also be returning for season two of “Tracker.”
“We’ll unpeel some more stuff with his sister,” he said during the panel.
