Despite U.S. warnings about withholding arms supplies, Netanyahu remains steadfast in his commitment to Israeli security.
Netanyahu’s comments came amidst Israel’s long-anticipated move against Rafah, where Hamas fighters and hostages from an October attack are reportedly located among displaced Palestinians.

In a video statement, Netanyahu conveyed Israel’s willingness to fight, with or without external support. He hinted at disagreements with the U.S. but expressed hope for a resolution while emphasizing Israel’s resolve to safeguard its sovereignty.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant echoed Netanyahu’s sentiments, asserting Israel’s resilience against its enemies.
Meanwhile, former Defense Minister Benny Gantz emphasized the importance of continuing the fight to secure the release of hostages and eliminate Hamas threats.
Despite the public dispute, Israel acknowledged U.S. support in the conflict, highlighting the complexity of their relationship amid regional tensions.
While the U.S. attempts mediation between Israel and Hamas through Egyptian and Qatari channels, negotiations have stalled over Hamas’ ceasefire demands.
Israel, however, insists on continuing the operation. Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari assured Israel’s military readiness for Rafah and future operations.
Netanyahu’s defiant stance underscores Israel’s determination to pursue its objectives in Gaza despite potential friction with its closest ally, the United States.
