Isekai Shikkaku is the story of a man who was Disqualified From Being human. Ningen Shikkaku, the male protagonist of the story, attempts double suicide with his lover but fails and ends up in another world instead. Now his only wish is to find his lover so he can commit suicide with her again.

On June 13, 1948, a certain literary master and his lover departed from this world. Laying on the ground of a huge palace that looked like a church, he wondered if it was life after death, an angel arrived out of thin air; Annette told him that she was the guide for people like him and it wasn’t life after death.

While Annette was telling him about his mission, he ate a couple of sleeping pills and fainted, but Annette, with her powers, saved him again, which annoyed him as he was trying to die, and she kept saving and telling him about some destiny. The truck with which he got hit in his past life was the world selection truck, and it guided him to this new world.

The truck hits certain unhappy people and lets them remake their lives. Annette thought his mind would change after he saw his status, but she herself was shocked at how weak his status was. In chapter 39 of Isekai Shikkaku, we see that Elton accepted the fact that he was the traitor and that no one could understand his feelings. He was heartbroken that Queen Zafia and Kaoru had joined hands and decided to be together to prove rest of the world that they were stronger together.

Angry Bishop Elton puts Kaoru into the demon king subjugation squad; this makes Zafia very sad. She goes running to him, asking why he did that. Elton said it’s the best job for outworlders like him to be put to work as guard dogs. He threw all the other worlds also into the underground, and on that day, he lost everything.

To have the home he painstakingly built in the face of discrimination torn away by feelings of anxiety and fear is the reason he detested Otherworlders. When Elton agrees, the author says he’s wrong, and there must be some other deep reason which makes Elton angry; that is why he wants to peer into his heart.
