The country singer-songwriter Luke Combs, hailing from North Carolina, is known for being in the singing business since his childhood days. The early kick that the singer got by starting music in his childhood actually landed him the opportunity to perform at one of New York’s prestigious concert locations, Carnegie Hall. The now thirty-three-year-old has announced to his fans a world tour that is all set to continue till October of this year.
Even though the country star has been performing since time immemorial, it was not until he moved to Nashville that he got to make and publish an official EP album in the year 2014. He waited for three years after the EP to release an actual album and officially enter the music business. Though the singer took his sweet time making music, he is now firmly set in the industry with fans that love and appreciate his songs.
The country musician has been nominated for the Grammy Awards twice and has won a few iHeart Radio Music Awards and several Country Music Association Awards, and so many more. Luke’s passion for music actually took over him completely just twenty-one hours prior to his graduation, when he decided to ditch his college and go for the country music genre.
His songs, When It Rains It Pours, One Number Away, and Beautiful Crazy, all set new records for the singer-songwriter, taking him to new levels of success. Luke’s recent album, Gettin’ Old, dropped on March 24th, 2023, with two singles released prior to the album release, which the singer claimed were inspired by and written for his first son, Tex. Clearly, the country star, Luke, is well-established in the industry, with tour dates and fans lined up to hear his golden voice.
While his professional career is sailing smoothly, his personal life does not seem to be doing so badly itself. Luke is known to have found his eternal love in 2016 when he started dating Nicole Hocking, and after two years of dating, the couple decided to put a ring on their relationship and were revealed to have gotten married in a private wedding ceremony in Florida on August 1st, 2020.
Another Happy News For The Singer
The couple had been happily dating each other since 2016, and just two years into their wedding, they announced their pregnancy, and on June 19th, 2022, they brought home their first son, whom they named, Tex Lawrence.
In a red carpet interview, the singer revealed that he and his wife had decided to raise their kid all by themselves and that the lack of a nanny is heavy, but the two wish to spend time with their son and raise him. The singer revealed that though it is the job of two people, his wife Nicole is definitely left to do the hard work all by herself, considering all the tours Luke has to go on. He claimed he was sorry to his wife because he felt she was being left alone to do all the tedious tasks of raising a child.
The singer’s son is not even a year old, and he already has songs dedicated to and written for him by his loving father. Songs like You Found Yours and Take You With Me were revealed to be inspired by his son, with the singer also admitting that it will be a long time before the father-son songs stop.
While the fans were admiring Luke for being such a caring father to his son, the singer took to his Instagram to reveal another surprising detail about his life. In a post, he wrote that only nin-months after their firstborn, the singer and his wife, Nicole are all set to welcome their second child, also a son. March 20th, 2023, the singer announced this news to fans.
He mentioned in the post that the couple was ready to train their first child on how to become a reliable big brother. The post was put up with a picture of the couple in their backyard with Nicole holding their son, Tex, who seemed to be wearing a onesie which has the words ‘big brother’ printed on the back in big letters. They expect their second son to arrive sometime in September though the preparation to welcome him has started already.
Comb acknowledged the fact that his wife has been working hard raising their kid without help from a nanny and that the addition of one more kid will be brutal, but the couple seems ready to face all the challenges together.
