Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has left a significant mark on the series after revealing Sasuke’s return. However, it was not something Boruto fans were expecting since he didn’t return as a hero but as a villain.
As soon as Boruto: Two Blue Vortex started, fans were really excited to get Sasuke back since he was the only character who could have saved Boruto and helped reveal the real truth behind Naruto’s death.
However, Kishimoto sensei played us all and gave us an evil version of Sasuke, who is way stronger than the real one. However, we are not here to talk about that, we are here to talk about whether the REAL Sauke is dead in the series or if is he still alive.
What has Sasuke become Now?
In the latest installment of Boruto manga, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 4, we are introduced to an evil organization that goes by the name Shinju. They are basically clones created after being absorbed by Claw Grims.
Like the one we saw in chapter 3, where a Shinobi got converted into a tree when he was trying to save Sarada from the Claw Grim. So, we can say that the same thing happened with Sasuke too.
All this is connected to Ten-Tails somehow since Boruto is very desperate to find it. Sasuke has now become an evil version of himself, which is now way stronger than the real Sasuke ever was.
How Strong is Evil Sasuke?
Evil is way stronger than the real one, and if ask why. There are multiple reasons to prove it. The first one, Evil Sasuke has both left and right hands, whereas the real Sasuke only has a right hand since he lost his left one after his fight with Naruto at the end of the Naruto series.
Second, Evil Sasuke has two rinnegan as we saw in Chapter 4, whereas the real Sasuke only has one eye with Sharingan since he lost his rinnegan after being attacked by Boruto who was being possessed by Momoshiki.
Third, as said earlier, Evil Sasuke is connected to the Ten-tails, and we can also say that he is somehow Jinjuriki of Ten-tail, which means he will have all the power of a Jinjuriki, like infinite Chakara, regeneration, and many powerful jutsu.
Who Are Shinju?
Shinju is now a new evil organization in the Boruto series that gets its power from Ten-Tails. They are created after being absorbed by Claw Grim and turned into trees. In Chapter 4, we saw that they are currently residing in another dimension which can only be visited using time-space Jitsu.
It is safe to say that it is the same place, where Sasuke once visited in Kawaki arc, where he sees Jigen absorbing Chakara from it. Sasuke went there using his Rinnegan, whereas Boruto went there using flying Raijin (Flying Thunder God Technique).
Is Sasuke Dead?
Sasuke is not dead yet, and it has been confirmed in chapter 4 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. In that chapter, we see Sadara confirming that those who have been turned into trees by Claw Grim are not dead, and the same goes for Sasuke, which means he is not dead. So we can say that he is somewhere close to being sealed.
So the big question comes now, how can we revive those who have been turned into trees? Well, we don’t have any solid solution from it since it is not yet mentioned in the manga, but we can say there are two ways to do so.
First by killing the clones. Boruto is very desperate to defeat the evil Sasuke, which means if we defeat the clones, the real ones will be revived. The second one is by killing/sealing/using the ten-tail since Boruto is after it from the time he entered Konoha.
There is something that Boruto knows that could be very bad for the Shinobu world, and that is what he was trying to tell Code. He has given many hints and all this could be connected to the destruction we saw in Chapter 1, where the whole Konoha was destroyed.
