Popular actor Jim Carrey recently made headlines after implying that he might soon be bidding farewell to his acting career! In an exclusive new interview, the Liar Liar actor stated that he is being fairly serious when he says that he is retiring. This news surely comes as a surprise as the actor has managed to entertain fans for decades with his unique use of slapstick comedy!
However, the actor is not completely retiring and added that he would keep the options open in exceptional cases where he gets a script that was important for people to see. Jim Carrey further said that he would be interested in a Dolly Parton biopic! Even Dolly Parton has given her approval in her way!

The Mask actor is also quite smitten by Parton as he says that although they are born in different eras, he would have chased her and felt pretty confident that he would have caught her.

While talking more about his possible retirement, Jim Carrey admits that he really likes his quiet life and loves putting paint on canvas, and also his enriched spiritual life. The actor sternly announced that he had done enough. So, he is quite sure of leaving his acting life behind and leading a life away from the limelight. Jim Carrey also added that if the angels bring some sort of script that’s written in gold ink for him, he would surely consider it!

Moreover, he also can condemn the standing ovation that Will received after he bagged his Oscar. Jim Carrey further added that he would have sued the actor as he believes that the insult is going to be there for a long time.
