The dark comedy, thriller, and psychological drama, Beef got released on 6 April 2023 for Netflix and revolved around two strangers who meet each other in a near accident. First, they become enemies, but later, they learn more about each other’s lives and get involved in revengeful activities.
You will learn whether George is cheating on Amy and the underlying reason (if he is cheating on her) in the seventh episode of Beef called ‘I Am A Cage.’ All episodes, including the seventh one, got released on the same day, i.e., 6 April 2023.

The seventh episode starts eight months after the events that occurred in the sixth one. So, Amy and George had been keeping secrets from each other over the months, and they finally land up on a breaking point. George is not the only one at fault. Amy is pessimistic about life, emotionally detached, mysterious, and unsatisfied with her physical relations with George.
Moreover, she also had past physical infidelity. Thus, unsatisfied George gets emotionally detached from Amy and attached to Mia, Amy’s assistant. On the other hand, Amy tries to attract Danny and unknowingly ends up chatting with his brother, Paul, instead of him.
However, she takes the relationship further and gets physically closer to him. It is how Amy also comes as a cheater. George confesses to Amy about the cheating and adds that he only had an emotional connection with Mia. He only wanted someone to care for him. There was no place for physical intimacy. Thus, Amy melts and forgives him but does not disclose her infidelity.
Amy and George see a therapist, Dr. Catherine Lin, where Amy speaks about her anxiety, doubt about her motherhood, fear, and difficulty in forgiving George. She is not one of those who like to pour their heart out. Thus, she gets trapped in her world. But, it was necessary because the series would have ended within half the number of episodes if Amy did not get portrayed like that.
Effect On Their Relationship
Amy gets ready to forgive George but requires some time. On the other hand, Paul informs George that he had physical intimacy with Amy. As a result, George gets devastated and cannot forgive Amy. Thus, he begins with the legal procedures to divorce her.
Isaac holds June hostage. Amy asks George to help her get Jun back, but George seems to get interested only in divorce. He asks whether his divorce lawyer tried to contact her. So, we can assume the couple gets separated in the next season. Moreover, we are excited to see what paths they choose.
Fans cannot compare Amy-Paul’s relationship with George-Mia. Amy and Paul looked better together, and she was already in a partially broken marriage. But, the fans got shocked to see that Paul used (and abused) her for money. They focused more on Amy-Paul than George-Mia.

Amy seems to have a perfect life with her handsome stay-at-home husband and daughter until she meets Danny. In the case of acting in front of the therapist, the stand-up comedian, Ali, got nervous about getting intense while sitting on a chair.
Ali had to show something breaking within Amy within three minutes. Amy’s struggle to overcome her vulnerabilities, guilt, and inclination towards conditional love got excellently depicted by Ali through her intense and exceptional performance.
