Later we see Helena giving the letter to Crawford. While hearing Rebecca’s words, she thought that it wouldn’t be such a hard task. But it was an intense atmosphere around Crawford while he was reading the Letter. Of the two letters written by Rebecca, one was meant for Viat to buy her two days, the letter with a false excuse to make her stay in Rebecca’s office as a temporary assistant.

And the other one, it was written to Crawford, the aide who ran away from her. Rebecca told her that Crawford wouldn’t even see the face of the attendant she sent him, so she requested her to deliver the letter. By seeing the aide’s reaction, she figured out why she asked her so earnestly to give him the letter. He was making a scary face while reading the letter.

Helena had a bad feeling about it. Helena said to him that she would be entering the palace the day after tomorrow in a carriage set by her majesty. She asked him if he wanted to send a reply to Rebecca. While making a scary face, he told her that they needed to meet face-to-face and talk it out. Hearing this made Helena think about what Rebecca wrote in the letter that made him so angry.

Later we see Hekeus escorting Helena back to her home. While they were going back home in the caravan, Helena thought Hekeus might be hungry after working all day. He remembered that Maria had packed some Madeleine (biscuits) for her in the morning. However, when she checked, she found out that only one piece was left.

She told Hekeus to have the last piece as she thought he might be hungry. Hekeus told her that he was fine, but his stomach said the opposite. Even after Hekeus refused, she put Madeleine in her mouth. When Helena saw him eating Madeleine, she started blushing as if she had fallen in love.
