IDOLiSH7 Season 3 Episode 16 is set to release this weekend. Idolish7 is a Japanese rhythm game developed and published by Bandai Namco Online for Android and iOS platforms, with music collaboration by Lantis. It was initially launched in Japan on August 20, 2015.
A manga adaptation by Troyca and a novelization have both been released for Idolish7. A second season of the anime aired between April and December 2020. There will be a third season of the show in July 2021, and the album Regality will become the first credited to a male character group to top the Oricon Albums Chart every week.
The series’ plot revolves around To better fulfilling his goal of nurturing an idol who will surpass the missing zero, Kujo starts defaming Gaku and Ryu, attempting to make Tenn become a solo artist. Meanwhile, a new group ZOOL makes their debut, but they are not impressed with the other idols. ZOOL’s manager Ryo Tsukumo also seems to be plotting evil against the band. This is especially true as more of the past surface – especially related to Zero’s lyricist Haruki Sakura.
IDOLiSH7 Season 3 Episode 15 Review
Ryu SHINED in this episode, which is a good day to be a Ryu fan today. It took a lot of preparation to get Ryu to perform on behalf of Trigger on his own. Ryu was noted not to stand out as much as Tenn and Gaku at the start of the season…many months ago. In light of this, it would be only natural that we would get a grander follow-up to that mini-arc. Despite being such a stressful and serious moment, I was just so amused by how absurd it was that despite the group splitting up to find where Tsukumo took the Trigger members.
As we begin, Vale leads the front desk guy into shenanigans and tricks him into leaking juicy information, which leads to him being tied up and interrogated. Yuki and Sogo just display the same killer energy, all while smiling. The group that made me laugh the most with their antics was the group that caused the most amount of hilarity. The three of them just came in with sunglasses. There were just so many parts where I had to stop watching the show because I was lost.
Particularly when Tamaki and Sogo “glowered” at that one guy when Yamato prompted them. In addition, I sometimes forget that Yamato is an excellent actor so when he starts using his abilities, it always takes me by surprise. And while all this hilarity ensues, Nagi is the one who finds and rescues the first Trigger member. As he played an integral part in stopping the terrorist attack during the Trigger concert in season 1, it was unsurprising that he handled the situation by himself. Although I did have a good laugh at how Ryu bothered him earlier in the season about the Okinawan dialect, I laughed at his ability to learn it.
Even though Yaotome papa turned around this season, I think what surprised me the most. The first season of the show left a terrible impression on him, but there have been hints that there is more to him than what meets the eye. I’m here for his growth, just like everyone else is. As I mentioned before, there is more going on with him than meets the eye, so watching him throughout the seasons made me mildly interested in him as a character.
He finally sank into his pride and humbled himself to Ryu, the one he had been the most critical of at the beginning of the season, complimenting him and even saying that his performance was great, all while he smiled. I wasn’t expecting this development, but I’m happy about it nonetheless. His redemption is still far from complete, and he still has a lot to do, but he’s making some progress. And I’m very eager to see how he handles Ryo in the future.
The episode was very funny, with a surprising amount of hilarity sprinkled throughout. It may have been needed after the first episode’s stress. I was also curious how certain characters, such as Sogo, Tenn, and Torao, played out in the next episode. Despite not having the best of circumstances, Ryu still managed to make an impact even though he wasn’t given the spotlight. I am sure there is still a lot of work to do before Trigger is put back in a good light, but I hope this performance will help elevate his status in the public’s eyes.
