I Thought It’s A Common Possession is the story of Edith Rigelhof. This lady has been living a very miserable life from the very beginning. All she can remember of her childhood is misery and abuse. Her so-called family members never liked her and always treated her badly.
Edith Rigelhof was expecting her life to change post-marriage as she heard that marriage was a woman’s life’s turning point. Well, sorry to disappoint, but Edith Rigelhof’s life did not change for the better.
The marriage was a political one, and her husband hated her. There was no love in this marriage between the couple. Due to all this hate and abuse, Edith Rigelhof dies an early death. But she reincarnates!
Edith Rigelhof is now in the world of a novel that she had been reading in her past life. Her memories of her past life are intact, and thus, she remembers the whole plot of her new life. Now that she is reborn, will Edith Rigelhof be able to change her fate as and how she wants?
Recap
Last Tuesday, in the previous chapter of I Thought It’s A Common Possession, that is, Chapter 40, Edith Rigelhof kept staring at Rudwick suspiciously. Rudwick tells her to look away for some time as he is nervous, too. This was all because it was really awkward between them.
It was true that Edith Rigelhof and Rudwick did not see each other much despite being family. But it looked like Edith Rigelhof and Kilian were getting along much better. Edith Rigelhof tells Rudwick that it has only been a few days, and no one knows what will happen in the future.
Compared to the time Kilian spent with Lize, it is a minuscule amount of time, and it was also a type of interest that will cool down soon. However, Rudwick wished for Kilian’s interest to head towards Edith Rigelhof.
Rudwick then tells Edith Rigelhof not to pretend, and it is not a hard concept to understand. Edith Rigelhof wished for Kilian, and Rudwick wished for Lize. They both wanted the same thing for different reasons. It was important that Kilian and Lize did not turn back and look at each other.
Kilian enjoys yacht rides on a lake. As soon as the days grow warm, he tends to seek a yacht. So Edith Rigelhof’s mother used to say, ‘Summer must have started’ when she saw the yacht on the lake. Once Lize came, he used to take her often, but now that he has been married, he has not taken her on the yacht.
Also, Kilian was particularly interested in art. Whatever he does, you will find it effective when you compliment him often. After all, he has a complex about falling behind Rudwick. And this surely had an interesting effect on Edith Rigelhof.
Edith Rigelhof knows this is just an element in the story where the two fight furiously for the female lead’s heart. Since they are related by blood, she thought at least they’d care about each other, but it looks like that is not the case here.
