Often called the “best girl” in the anime, Luna has made her appearance at last with a very interesting twist. The girl who got introduced as hopeless and weak was revealed to an elite assassin, a member of the dark guild popularly known as the headhunter. Despite her cold-hearted personality as an assassin, we still witness some moments of compassion as Luna thinks of the time she spent with Yuuya. She thinks that if she had only met Yuuya earlier, things would have been different for her.

Titled “the off-campus Trip,” this episode will include the adventures of Yuuya with his friends as they try to survive in the forest and win the competition. “Magic is the materialization of one’s imagination,” Yuuya wonders how he could use magic to get where ever he wants to when it suddenly becomes clear. He puts up his hands in the air and imagines where he wants to go, and suddenly a portal opens up to that place. Yuuya and Night get overjoyed at this accomplishment, and Yuuya promises Night that he will make food for him while he’s away for the off-campus trip. Yuuya and Night then proceed to explore the entire forest they just found.
Yuuya and Night come across some goblins on their way, but they make quick work of them. After defeating them, Night suddenly picks up a strange smell and runs towards it, which worries Yuuya, who follows him in a hurry. Night asks Yuuya to conceal his presence, and so he does. Then he looks ahead and sees that a girl has been cornered by an elite goblin group and is badly injured.
Yuuya tries to save the girl, but Night stops Yuuya from doing so as he wants to wait a bit longer. The girl fights off the first wave of goblins but gets overwhelmed when the second wave arrives, and so Yuuya and Night finally jump in to save the day.
Yuuya uses his magical whip and quickly defeats all of the goblins in the area. Yuuya then finds that the girl has been left unconscious because of the injuries, and so he carries her to safety. Night opposes the idea of Yuuya taking her to their hideout, but Yuuya refuses to leave her in danger.
The girl wakes up after some time and gets startled by finding herself in Yuuya’s arms. She tries to get away from him, but Yuuya assures her that he only wants to help and hands her a bottle of “all heal drug.” The girl gets skeptical at first, but she takes the drug eventually. She gets surprised to see that her wounds really got healed by the drug, and so she tells her name to Yuuya as gratitude. The girl, Luna, asks Yuuya what he is doing in the dark region, and Yuuya makes up a lie that he is “training.”
Luna asks Yuuya to train with her as long as he can, as it would help her do her job properly, and Yuuya agrees to her request as he can’t just leave her alone in the forest. They then train for several days until the day off-campus trip arrives, and so Yuuya says farewell to Luna.
Luna insists on one last bath with Yuuya, but that soon turns out to be a bad idea as both of them go through some embarrassing moments because of it. Luna thanks Yuuya for everything, and both of them go their separate ways.
