Recap
In the previous chapter of I Became The Wife Of The Monstrous Crown Prince, we see the Goddess’s back story where she falls in love with Philip and gives him all her powers to become a human herself. Philip asks her to teach him how to use the light magic for offensive attacks and coerces her into telling him everything.
However, he runs away the moment he learns about everything and scars begin appearing on the Goddess’s body which meant that the light magic was being misused. She goes to confront Philip about it and Liontel helps her but Philip ends up stabbing her after lying to her once again.
Of course, the Goddess regretted it the moment she wounded Anthea and she swapped bodies with her to make sure she is able to live on. That was the reason why Anthea had disappeared for seven years after curing Blake and why he couldn’t recognize her when she was right in front of his eyes.
Finally, Anthea got her body back and Blake asks her to forgive him since it took him time to recognize her again. The two finally fall asleep and Anthea gets shocked when she wakes up to find Blake lying on the floor. She panicked thinking something had happened to him but Blake said that he just accidentally rolled off the bed.
