Survive the Raft Preview
Survive the Raft is Discovery’s latest unscripted survivalist reality show, it is hosted by Nate Boyer, and it takes inspiration from a social experiment that dates back to 1973 in which we can see if the participants can cooperate in a challenging situation to achieve a common goal.
In this show, we’ll see a group of nine contestants sail for about a month on board the “Acali II”, they’ll have to deal with each other’s egos, face the troubles and challenges of sailing, and see if they can make it as they navigate the sea.
It isn’t as simple as it seems because along the way we’ll see how they face the obstacles that sailing puts them along the way. Each episode will put the contestants up to a mission and if they successfully complete it, they will receive an accumulative cash prize which will be divided into equal parts at the end of the season.
The challenges are designed to play them against each other, test their physical and mental skills and break them down.
