With the new season already airing, fans are curious about how to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15. The brand-new installment will drop out with the utmost charm we can imagine, and this time will have 15 queens on the screens. These queens will aim to compete against each other in the rounds with specific challenges for each, which are provided by RuPaul and judged by the judges.
Well, the fans are most excited to witness the drag twins on TikTok named Suga and Spice, among other contestants. Obviously, it will be a bit confusing for the fans to make them out both on the screen because, let’s face it, they look too similar to distinguish easily. Along with them, we will also witness the other queens joining the screen.
Now, RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 is actually the biggest season we have seen in the franchise yet. Yes, the stakes have now been raised to 200,000 dollars in cash prize for the queen who is able to win the contest. Along with that, there has been a channel shift. The new season has been moved to MTV. The producers will also be offering a short portion of the episode after the main episode has ended.
RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 Details
This “short” is called Untucked. Through this, fans will be able to have an insight into the minds of the drag queens who are taking part in the series, as well as the outfit choices they made and why they made them in the first place. Additional information was provided to the fans with the fact that TS Madison is going to be a regular rotating judge for the season.
In this reality TV series, we see that RuPaul, the ultimate Drag Queen of America, goes on in search of America’s Next Drag Superstar. For the queens taking part in the contest, she acts as a mentor as well as the head judge. With the episodes dropping out each week, the players are given different challenges with different themes meaning new fashion choices.
With the contest taking place, we see a panel of three judges. The main one is RuPaul, as you all might have guessed already, and the second one is Michelle Visage. There is also an alternating third main judge, which is TS Madison, for this season.
The format of the episode is simple yet competitive. We see a challenge presented to the queens along with all the details and the rules. They are required to showcase their creativity with the topics and then take part in either a performance routine or a fashion contest, or sometimes it can be both as well. This generally is the main challenge of the series.
The second challenge is to have a fashion runway. By the end of each week, one player is named the winner, while two players are put up for elimination. Now, these two players will be given one last chance to prove themselves for the season and save their seats by taking part in a lip sync battle.
