Pokemon Horizons, the series, is coming soon to your TV screens, and while some of the fans are curious what the story is going to be this time, it is sure we are not going to witness Ash and Pikachu and their bonding this time.
After bidding farewell to the beloved duo, this eighth installment in the Pokemon franchise will bring us the tales of Liko and Roy. This is the eighth Pokémon anime season. Pokémon Journeys: The Series is said to have been replaced by this eight-part series.
The 10-year-old protagonist Ash of the most popular anime in the world, will go out on a new adventure to discover what it truly means to be a Pokémon Master, but we won’t be along for the ride.
Instead, a fresh plot featuring two new characters will continue the Pokémon anime following Ash’s departure. It will make its Japanese debut with an hour-long special. As they travel through the Pokémon universe, Liko, Roy, and the three Paldea serve as the series’ dual protagonists.

What is the premise of Pokémon Horizons: The Series?
The next installment of the Pocket Monsters tale is called Pokémon Horizons: The Series. The latest installment will introduce us to Liko, a young lady with a Sprigatito, and Roy, a young kid with a Fuecoco, who will serve as the dual main characters of the upcoming anime.
The new series is going to take place in the same time frame as Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, which includes Ash’s final excitement and a heartfelt send-off to Team Rocket.
The Paldea region of Pokémon Horizons will be modeled on the Iberian Peninsula, which includes Spain, Portugal, and Andorra. Fans must prepare to meet a lot of new Pokémon and keep an eye out for connections to the most recent Pokémon games, Scarlett and Violett, where Paldea was first featured.
What should we expect from Pokémon Horizons: The Series?
As soon as Ash says goodbye to his mother and his supporters in the Kanto area, Pokémon Horizons: The Series starts. Liko, who is from a place called Paldea, has enrolled at the Kanto boarding school Indigo Academy and is now making friends there.
She appears to possess a hidden power and wears a mystery pendant that belonged to her grandmother. A charming little Sprigatito, a very grass-type starter from Paldea, is the first Pokémon she encounters.
Roy, a resident of Kanto, is prepared to start the journey with his Fuecoco, a Paldean fire-type starter. He also has a special possession: a weird Pokéball with a steampunk aesthetic.
The two encounter Friede, a Pokémon instructor, and Captain Pikachu as a result of fate, and they set off on a quest to explore the strange and ever-expanding universe of Pokémon.
