What is the premise of Otaku Elf 2023?
The endearing fantasy comedy Otaku Elf centers on Koganei Koito, a Takamimi Shrine attendant, and a video game-loving eternal shut-in elf. According to Seven Seas, the manga series’ official English publisher, the storyline is as follows:
“Adolescent Koganei Koito serves as a shrine caretaker at Takamimi Shrine. Although it is said that a deity resides within the shrine, the real inhabitant is an immortal elf who became stranded on Earth about 400 years ago.
Additionally, the fairy is a complete recluse who refuses to leave the house. And he has grown to enjoy playing computer games! In this endearing fantasy comedy, the shrine guardians must now accommodate the elf’s passion for the most cutting-edge gadgets, including handheld games and virtual reality headsets.

The serial Otaku Elf, written and illustrated by Akihiko Higuchi, debuted in Shonen Magazine Edge in 2019. Six volumes of the manga have been collected, four of which are already readily accessible in print and digital versions in America thanks to a licensing deal with Seven Seas Entertainment.

Who will voice the characters of “Otaku Elf”?
Koito Koganei, the other lady lead in Otaku Elf, will be voiced by Yuka Ozaki, known for being one of the cutest voice actors to portray Serval in Kemono Friends. In addition, Yuka is recognized for her roles as Ado Sukinanoka from Watashitachi, Luck Logic-bu!, Asuka Toyama from BanG Dream!, and Kohane Hatoya from Ye Anima.
The shrine maid of Takamimi Shrine, from Tokyo, is Koito Koganei. Koito is mainly responsible for her routine tasks but must also assist the local deity, Elda, with her odd requests.
Among them are delivering her food, manga, computer games, and energy drinks. Despite his cool-headed demeanor, Koito frequently becomes enraged by Elda’s irritation.
